Situated in the heart of the South West of France, the Hotel Restaurant La Dame du Lac is in a charming village on a hill overlooking the valley Lede. Stayed in small cottages in the grounds, parked motorbikes outside the window, nice and quiet despite having a live band on, which was quite good - not noisy and finished early! Excellent steak cooked on an open fire

Rooms weren’t great, unlike pictures and quite untidy. Aircon didn’t work and was very hot. Shutters didn’t open so couldn’t get any fresh air in without having the front door open. Some staff were attentive, some were rude and refused to speak to us.

“With a few improvements could be a great place.”
Great location, with some good facilities for the family ie games area, nice lakeside walk, and plenty of seating on the lake view terrace. The in house restaurant served a varied & tasty a menu and food & drinks reasonably priced. Staff friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking. Bedroom very basic, like a dormitory, no frills, but clean & bed comfy.

“Good value for money with a great location”
Comfortable single beds, good location - easy to find and attractive views over the lake at breakfast. Ground floor so easy access. good cupboard space. Adequate facilities in room. Free wifi. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Bar/restaurant onsite so good to have if required.

The staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly. The outlook from the bar and patio area was outstanding. There's a very large games room, with numerous sports to indulge in. A beautiful lake to walk around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was only ok as they ran out of delicious scrambled eggs ( they made more after) Room was ok but aircon worked but was just a fan ( didn’t cool at all) Overall atmosphere was very good !Steak was excellent!

The location was easy to get to and the view in the morning was very pretty.
