Overview
The Sam Hotel is set in a modern building in Monfalcone. The area is great for parking and is only a short walk from the historic centre. The spacious lobby of the Sam Hotel has an internet point with computer and free wireless access is available throughout the hotel. There is a fully equipped fitness centre on the 1st floor. You will find 3 lifts bringing you to the rooms. One of the lifts offers great views.

“Would stay there again.”
Good location for Trieste Airport. Flew in late and then had over an hour at passport control so didn’t get to the hotel until 01.30 ish. Nighttime reception was friendly and really good. He allowed my girlfriend and son to go up to the room while I completed checking in.

“Recommended for a night before an early flight”
The room overall was comfortable. The staff was very helpful helping me get a taxi very early in the morning (around 4:00) so I could get to the airport on time for my early flight.

Very comfortable, good breakfast and located relatively close to the airport. Even though I arrived almost at midnight because my flight got delayed, the staff was ready for my check-in.

Breakfast was absolutely acceptable with plenty of choices. The hotel room was quiet at night time, except for the movement of furniture from the room above on the floors.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The hotel staff is kind and professional. The breakfast is varied and delicious. I could not imagine anything more (despite there were no eggs even in the Eastertime – some people made complaints on booking.com 😉). There are enough parking lots in the immediate vicinity. You can easily reach the town centre, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets on foot.

Value for money budget hotel which provides excellent buffet breakfast including freshly made coffee. The cappuccino was excellent. We chose to stay here after arriving at Trieste airport late at night as it is relatively close rather than getting taxi into Trieste.
