“An older hotel in the centre of Monfalcone”

The hotel has a very good location right in the center of Monfalcone. It is about a 15-minute walk to the train station, and there are also buses nearby. The area offers plenty of shops and restaurants, yet the hotel itself is situated on a quiet side street, which I appreciated. The hotel is older and the facilities would benefit from renovation. In the first room I stayed in, the power sockets were not working, which was inconvenient. In the second room to which I was moved everything was fine, but it was located next to the elevator, which was quite noisy. The rooms are basic, but I appreciated having a fridge. Everything was clean. Breakfast was good, Italian-style, with a decent selection. I would also like to highlight the reception staff, who were very friendly and helpful. When I had to leave at 4 a.m. for the airport, they even offered me a croissant to take away, which was a very nice touch.

“The sounds of the storm!”

The man working at the reception desk was very helpful and explained how to get to the train station. The room was simple, with a small bathroom. There was no breakfast, but I was very pleased with the espresso coffee made by the hotel staff at 4 a.m. :)

Stayed for 1 night. The hotel is located in the city center. Nice staff at the reception. A big advantage for us was the free parking at the hotel. For transit and 1 night stay, good value for money - level of comfort received. I can stop again if necessary.

Staff accommodated us arriving late in the evening by bicycles. Sorted out a safe place to keep them for the night, no problem.
