During our two-week trip through Italy, this was by far the nicest place we stayed. It’s a wonderful family-run accommodation with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As someone who is quite particular about cleanliness, I can honestly say that it exceeded all of my expectations. The owners are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring people who make you feel right at home. The location is also fantastic — just a 2-minute walk from the beach and about 10 minutes from the metro station, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast was more than satisfying and offered everything we needed to start the day well. This detail may not matter to everyone reading this review, but for me it was a lovely bonus: we also made a very sweet furry friend named Udo, who made our stay even more memorable. 🐾 I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and authentic stay. We would happily come back again!

The best place to stay in Moneglia. Breakfast was incredible with home made cakes and yogurt. A great selection fruit, grains breads cheeses and meats. Elisabetta, daughter and staff are so attentive to your every need. Greeted with a smile and a heart felt Buon Giorno every morning really made you feel like home. They gave us great advice for our day trips, which was greatly appreciated. Our room was amazing and spacious. The large terrace off our room was wonderful to relax on and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the view. The grounds are clean and well taken care of. The free parking was also an added bonus. The location was perfect. Away from the busyness of the Cinque Terre but a short train ride to go and enjoy them. Can’t say enough what a great job this family has done to create such a wonderful place. Next time we are in the area, definitely coming back to stay at the Rocca. Ciao Caio until the next time.🍷

“Gorgeous, charming boutique stay in the heart of Moneglia”

This place is fantastic on all points! It's a family run business and you can tell from the attention to detail and level of service! The location is stunning and it's the perfect walking distance to many restaurants (our favourite was Tender) and a 5min walk to the fantastic beach! Breakfast is served in the romantic garden with the backdrop of a stunning cathedral. (Breakfast can also be served indoors in the equally beautiful kitchen setting which is really beautiful and authentic.) The location in general, and rooms, are impeccably clean and comfortable and have all of the necessary amenities. We even had a retractable clothes line in our bathroom which was super helpful to dry off swim suits/ shorts after a day in the beach.

Maison de Charme lives up to its name with beautiful rooms and lovely hosts. The location next to the main church of Moneglia is also beautiful and very convenient for restaurants beach etc

Our room was really cosy, everone was so nice and we really enjoyed our stay! Breakfast on the terrace was really nice as well. We came by train and were picked up by car from the station which was very nice. But you can reach the station in about 10 minutes by foot as well which is very convenient.

From the WhatsApp sent to confirm the booking, the offer to be collected at the train station, parking available, beautiful set-up, rooms, friendly staff and really amazing breakfast with fruit salad, great coffee, kettle in the room with coffee/tea, it met all possible needs. It is a guesthouse experience as I would expect it and like to offer our guests. Walking distance to the train station and in the centre of a quiet town (in May). Perfect to enjoy an Italian town and pop into Cinque Terre as needed. The jacuzzi was a great bonus.

Very comfortable place in a totally isolated town on the coast. It almost felt like being on an island and the property was just perfectly located WITH a parking where there seems to be no place to park. In short a gem. The price was a big higher than expected by rational insight of the offer. Elizabetta was super flexible on meeting us at a time that suited us.

La Rocca Maison de Charme is an extraordinary and indeed a really charming B&B. As Moneglia is a small village, distances to the main street, restaurants, beach and railway station are short (only few minutes by feet). The owners (Alice and Elisabetta) are very friendly and helpfully. The breakfast with fresh and homemade cakes, cookies, jams and fresh fruits is absolutely great. Also Moneglia is a nice little village without party business and a good location for hiking tours along the coast or just relaxing at the sea. Cinque Terre is just 30 min by train and also Genua can be reached by train each hour. The only downside is that the railway tracks are not far away. However, in particular in the night there are not so much trains passing so I have always slept undisturbed, even though I am quite sensitive to noise (so I only want to mention that without considering it as severe drawback). I would give 11 points if that would be possible.

Very nice Bed and Breakfast . The owner is very gentle and helpful.Amazing breakfast we got every morning. We could choose on a menu what we want for breakfast.The room was very clean. The Bed and Beakfast is in a quiet area close to the pedestrain area.To the train station it takes 15 min. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants. If you want to visit Cinque Terre this is a good place to stay. Thank you again for the nice stay we had in your Bed and Breakfast. Next time we come back to this Bed and Breakfast Rose&Jean-Pierre
