Our host was very kind and the history of the estate is also very interesting. The room looked at a well-tended yet wild small garden. The house was cosy, with pleasant lights both day and night. If you like old furniture, books and maps, you'll really enjoy your stay here.

Comfortable bed, clean room. The building is like a castle both from outside and inside with an authentic atmosphere. Its garden is like a botanic garden. Quiet and peacefull area. Gabriella the host is very kind and helpful. Provides informartion what to see, where to eat, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, it really feels like a home from home. Gabriella is the perfect host and very attentive. The bedroom was great and the whole property is full of character with a beautiful garden. Gabriella was very helpful giving us advice on where to go in Mondello and Palermo. The breakfast was great with many homemade items. The property is not far from Mondello town, down a quiet road with parking available outside the gates.

We had a terrific stay at the Glicine. Signora Bucci is a delightful host and we were warmly welcomed along with her dog, Trilly. The property is beautiful and feels like home and breakfast is abundant and delicious. She also provided some wonderful suggestions for dining and seeing Palermo in all its beauty. We cannot recommend this place enough.

This stay was grand, so beautiful and peaceful. Gabriella is excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. I would honestly whole heartedly recommend everyone to come here, you won’t regret it.

“Precious place with a secret garden and amazing host”

Such a beautiful place! And Gabriella and her staff are so kind and welcoming. They also go out of the way to help you with tips for restaurants, places to see and how to get around in Palermo. I felt very much at home! The garden is amazing, really magical, Gabriella puts a lot of effort and love in the garden and it shows. The room was lovely, very clean and spacious with a large bathroom. Breakfast is a joy, you'll find everything you need and more with delicious homemade jams and cornetti. Grazie Gabriella per un soggiorno bellissimo. Magari tornerò presto! Many greetings from Amsterdam.

Our stay at this property was exceptional. From our host, who was so warm and welcoming, to the gorgeous rooms, which are beautifully decorated and well presented, our stay was very pleasant. Breakfast in the mornings was served in their lush gardens, where we had homemade jams and sweets. I would highly recommend staying at this property. It is charming and clean, and the hosts are so thoughtful. We'd love to return again to enjoy this lovely place.
