We spent 8 days in the upper apartment which features a spacious terrace with amazing views around the bay. The villa is in the art nouveau liberty style set in a beautiful garden, itself set in beautiful part of Mondello, and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Staying there really felt like living in paradise for a few days. The apartment is immaculately clean and fully featured. We must mention the wonderful greeting and attentiveness from the hosts Marina and Vittoria, they are genuinely warm and generous people and helped make our holiday perfect. We also had many funny conversations and although we do not speak Italian Marina was always on hand with her translate app :)

A wonderful apartment. We were warmly received by Marina and Vittorio on our arrival. Our apartment was large and spacious and traditionally styled in a beautiful way. Just a short walk to the beach, the house is in a wonderful garden, and parking was provided on site. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we also had a roof terrace with great views. We had a perfect stay and truly loved the place. And our hosts, thank you.

We had the most amazing stay at La Torretta! The apartment is beautifully decorated and has a roof terrace that has a stunning view of the beach and the surrounding mountains. Marina and her husband were the absolute sweetest hosts. They greeted us with homemade lemon ice tea and sicilian biscuits when we arrived and made sure we always were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. They offered a shuttle service from the airport, so getting to and from the airport was very easy. 10/10 experience. :-)

Thank you to Marina and Vittorio for a fantastic stay. The hosts were very warm and welcoming, and made our vacation extra memorable. The room is large and tidy, with kitchen and roof terrace on the upper floor.

“More than just a B&B”

The property is beautiful and Marina (host) and her families kindness and hosting skills take the experience to another level. Room is as seen on pictures and the kitchen is well laid out. The terrace is the cherry on the cake with the best view of Mondello. Excellent location close to the beach and public transport links. Transfers arranged by host were excellent and recommended. My train was 3 hours late but my friendly, welcoming transfer was there waiting at 10.30 pm. Marina made me feel like I was visiting family which is a money can’t buy experience.

Our hosts were very charming. The area was a leafy and quiet wealthy suburb; it’s a pleasant easy walk to the beach and about 15-20 minutes stroll to the village centre

The apartment was amazing, situated in a prime place along the coastline of Mondello. It was well equipped with everything you could need, from a speaker to a coffee machine. Marina was a great host, she took the time to talk us through all the facilities and recommend the best restaurants. It’s definitely the nicest apartment we’ve ever stayed in, would 100% recommend to anyone holidaying in Mondello. Best part was the balcony which exceeded all expectations! The view couldn’t get any better 😊

Lovely apartment very close to the beach. The owner is helpful, he help us to find restaurants, bars in the city. There was a gift for us when we arrived (local pasta with tomato and olive oil). We could check in earlier and check out later. I recommend this for everyone, who wanted to experience the typical Italian beach life.

No breakfast was served, but an excellent cafe was nearby. Lovely terrace with wonderful views and you could make your own tea/coffee. Marina and her husband were exceptional hosts and have created a stunning home which they were proud to share.

it was an amazing villa and a total privilege to stay there. It lacked nothing. Fabulous terrace with 180 degrees view over the bay. It felt like a luxury hotel,only with self catering. The host and staff were exceptionally friendly and super accommodating.
