The booking was spontaneous and Amel was very helpful, allowing for a quick check in. We were able to leave our big baggage in the accomodation after checkout, which was really helpful!

“Kindness and comfort”

Everything was perfect! Mr. Kader welcomed me warmly, showed me all the features of the apartment. He gave me information about the city and kindly offered to accompany me at the louage station on the day of my departure. Thanks. The apartment is equipped with everything, sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, stove, air conditioning. There is the possibility of using the washing machine. The bathroom is small but very nice. The terrace is at your disposal there is a table with chairs and a part with sofas where you can relax in the evening. The road to Dar Lilia is easy to find, very close to the louage station, there are some food shops very close by. A 7-minute walk away is the Bourghiba mausoleum, a 10-minute walk away is the sea with various restaurants.

It is a very charming room in a top roof terrace in the Medina. It has coocking facilities. Very comfortable and near the comercial area of the medina, the wanderful Ribat of Monastir and the great Central Market (a great market indeed). The terrace in front of the room is a great place for early mornings and evenings. Easy to reach following the link in google maps. Parking is nearby and free. The person who takes care of you at your arrival is a great character, helfull an friendly (his contact is sent to you as soon as you book). I highly recomend this place as an immersive experience to life in the Medina.

Great apartment. Very handy having a washing machine. The host was super friendly and walked us to the ATM as we didn't have enough cash. He pointed things out along the way with very good English. A nice easy walk to the nearby shops and restaurants and the fort and beach.

Nice place in medina. Everything ok but not exceptional. It should be 9 points. But.. it is disgusting and arrogant asking people to put 10 points... because they want to get better score in booking.com. They wrote to me this kind of message after my stay.

Nice apartment with 2 rooms. Very clean. Lovely hot shower. It had cooking facilities but we did not use it. Situated in the heart of the Medina. Well recommended.

If you want to be in the old medina this place is perfect. It is also safe, I wandered around day & night by myself down these little alleys and never felt threatened - you will just meet families and people going about their lives who often say hello with a smile. The owner is super helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to monastir. If you want busyness and things to entertain you in your accommodation this isn’t but if you appreciate peace and having space to yourself it’s perfect.
