Nice warm room

“Pleasant pools and grounds, lots of fun had.”

It was a perfect base for us travelling through to Burgos every day. The pools were fantastic for the kids and a real selling point for us staying here. The rooms were cleaned every day, with fresh towels. Bus stop is only a short walk from the hotel. Friendly owners and English speaking daughter.

No breakfast or dinner, no restaurants nearby that were open but the lady offered to cook me a pizza which was very kind of her.

Swimming pool was nice, although old fashioned and dirty. Liked the building and it's style.

“A convenient stopover”

Picon del Conde is a campsite with rooms just outside the village of Monasterio de Rodilla. Our room was on the ground floor, quite comfortable though a little dark and chilly on a damp late May day. The bathroom was very clean but decidedly compact, especially by the toilet! Parking is on-site, behind the Bar, which also does food like burgers and has a small mini-market. There are tables and benches outside in a small garden area where gnomes with musical instruments are dotted around in the hedges! There is an extensive pool complex (with bridges, flume etc) but while we were there it was being spruced and painted ready for the summer season in early June.

Nice and cozy room. Perfect to stop for the night. Also we enjoyed dinner at the near by snack bar.

It was okay for a one night stay to break a journey and there was a bar to have a drink.or coffee in. Good parking space and the staff were helpful

Easy to find. Convenient location heading to that north of Spain. Plenty of parking space. Room clean and tidy with a good bed and shower.

Cleanness and authentic

Fabulously creative accommodation, restaurant and waterpark all created by hand with unique determination, strength and excellent results. The food was excellent, the room extremely clean and comfortable. Walking around the vast museum-like property was a real and inspiring delight! The price was more than reasonable with extensive and safe free parking. Within a few kms are impressive historical sites and buildings to visit and explore: churches, la ermita de nuestra Señora del Valle, mountaintop castle ruins. Beware: petrol pumps are hard to find within a 50 km radius.

“Restful stay”

This is our 2nd time we stayed here (3 years apart) and we still love it. Rebecca is friendly and welcoming and the accommodation clean and comfortable. We love the camp site!

“Good stop for traveling”

Quaint is the best way to discribe this Motel. We had a language problem, but the lady on the reception had a lot of patience. Would stay again.
