Overview
Hotel Granada Palace is located in Tandal Urban Resort, the only urban resort in Granada. You can find it in the district of Monachil-Cájar, just 6 km from the centre of Granada, 10 minutes from the Alhambra and 25 minutes from the Sierra Nevada ski resort. A different hotel due to its large dimensions combining Mozarabic style architecture with modern design interiors. All the facilities have free WiFi connection. It offers spacious and elegant rooms with views of the city of Granada in the distance on one side and the mountain and Monachil area with its beautiful snow-capped peaks Mulhacen and Veleta on the other. All rooms have heating/air conditioning, minibar, safe, flat screen TV, desk, kettle and private bathroom with shower and hydromassage bathtub (double size in Junior Suites and Suites). Hotel Granada Palace has a large outdoor summer swimming pool and children's pool, solarium and in-house spa. Relax in Spalace, a large wellness area with a la carte services and treatments. The hotel also has a bar and breakfast room where a varied continental buffet is served every morning, as well as two restaurants, Italo and Origen for all tastes.

I paid for the hotel for 1300 euros. for some reason, booking did not confirm the hotel reservation, and my money was debited from the bank account. as a result, booking replied to me that it would refund my money now, in 12 days. and so I was left without money and without a hotel.

“Lovely staff but not a 5-star facility if that is what you are looking for- disappointed”
The staff at reception and the spa were wonderful and helpful- they did their jobs very well. The Italian restaurant that is linked to the hotel was fantastic, brilliant food. We enjoyed the spa even though some of the facilities were not open ( steam bath for example ). The bedrooms are nice and spacious.

“Awful. Maximum 2 star! Its a joke”
Its a maximum 2 stars hotel! Its joke, the spa not working! We was 16.30 when open, the receptionn said to me, please cime back after 19, all swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna cold! The minibar empty, no shower gel, no door the toilet( really) the skybar close! Awfull

Its old 5 star property, thus style of room and bathroom is old. Rooms and bathroom are spacious not a typical size across similar hotel.

“Fantastic hotel in a location out of town but well worth a stay. The attention to detail was super.”
The location was 10 minutes from the city centre, 10 euro’s in a taxi. The hotel is set in extensive grounds with a large swimming pool and rooftop terrace. The breakfast selection was plentiful with huge variety. We used the Italian restaurant on a number of evenings and the menu selection was excellent and the food delicious. I cannot thank the staff for their attention to detail and accommodating our requirements at short notice. They opened the rooftop terrace for our guests at short notice and they also assisted me with the organisation of tables for 35 guests in the Italian restaurant…..
