It is a very nice hostel. Large and beautifully designed. It has a great history, the owner built the building with the help of the locals and built it from scratch. It has all the amenities you need to live. It is very simple and gets the best rating from me because of its price/quality ratio. The administrator is very relaxed and has a person who helps him out, both ensure cleanliness. In addition, the town of Mompiche is very nice, somewhat remote, very quiet, and safe. Good sea food and affordable. Nevertheless, it is touristy. Highly recommended!

“Great place in peaceful mompiche”

I planned to stay a few days at sin fronteras and ended up staying a few good weeks. I enjoyed the laid back, peaceful vibe of the hostal. Martín is a great host (he also speaks excellent English). The hostal is very close to the beaches, and you can even rent a longboard if you want to lean to surf. There is hot water which was super nice to have especially at night, there is a big kitchen where you can cook, and you can do laundry.

Really nice place, Martin is super helpful and fun to be around. The kitchen has everything you need to cook nice meals. The space feels spacious and there is a lot of places to chill. Super close to the beach and the restaurants and shops in town 10/10

Martin was very friendly and helpful with some surfing suggestions. The whole place has a very exotic and relaxed vibe. The huge patio on the first floor is simply amazing! The kitchen is very well equipped A must especially if you want to plug off from the city. Highly recommended!

Everything was good. The owner is very friendly and always ready to help. The territory is clean, bed is comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped, free drinking water. Hot water in the shower, good Wi-Fi. And the hostel is very well located, not on the main road, so it's not noisy, but close to everything.

One of the best hostels i’ve ever been. Lot’s of nice paintings. A unique place and the young owner of the Hotel, Martin is extremely nice and helpful and gave us lots of information about Galapagos. His english is awesome. He rescued all his animals from the street. Thanks Martin. Hope to come back again

The environment the vibe is definitely relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay here. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and great place to socialise. Shared bathrooms are located on the ground floor whereas bedrooms/tents are on the first floor where there is a great spacious area to relax on hammocks/bean bags. Showers are covered outside and have hot water and the kitchen is well equipped. There isn't loads to do in Mompiche but we loved the quiet fishing vibe and to have some time to relax. Martin the owner is friendly and relaxed and has two adorable dogs!

As most of Mompiche is amazing, this hostel couldn't be an exception. Martin is a great guy, excellent quality-price ratio, good vibes, clean with everything you need!

Relaxed place with a good vibe. Nice common area with hammocks and a sea breeze. Ideal for a holiday between your travels. Mompiche is really nice but also very relaxed and only has one ATM which often does not accept foreign credit cards. So take enough cash!

“Chilled vibes, great place”

Fab chill out area in the upper floor of the bamboo house, with plenty of hammocks and a 'flying mattress' which was pretty comfy. The owner Martin and the workawayer were friendly. Also, there's currently a super cute puppy there! Had nice hot showers and free filtered drinking water. Also got a surf lesson off Martin and could pay PayPal when the ATM was down which was a relief! Great for the price!

“Loved this place!”

I loved my month’s stay here; my room had a tree-house feel and an en-suite, with a hot shower; a real luxury! The WIFI was excellent and there was always a nice breeze; there’s an amazing covered deck with the best of vibes where everyone hangs out on hammocks; and the owner; Martin is the chilliest host ever; the place feels like being part of a family the moment you put down your bags. Oh and there’s the sweetest of dogs and the beautiful puppies to play with; I miss them terribly!

“Lovely and relaxed hostel”

What a great hostel in a lovely little beach town. The owner (Martín) is great fun and very helpful. He gave me my first surfing lesson and it was fantastic! The hostel is cozy with an relaxed vibe. I slept in a tent which was a nice experience and also comfortable. The hostel also has a well equipped kitchen which was great. I even liked it so much that I will be coming back soon!
