I stayed here twice, one night before a bikepacking trip and several days afterwards (during XTERRA). The owner/staff were kind enough to store my excess gear/bags while I went bikepacking. They also were communicative when I was planning the trip. Their helpful flexibility was worthy of a 5-star hotel! The hotel is very well situation right in the middle of town, a little down from the shopping area and a little up from the lake – perfect. Lots of parking outside. WiFi but not very good (I just used cellular). The room was basic but clean and functional – you get what you pay for. Bathroom was small but adequate, water pressure/temperature OK, no weirdly-illogical fittings or design elements. The ‘double’ bed was actually two singles pressed together but still did the job. A small balcony with a sensational view. Breakfasts are adequate and the at-cost dinner very good, though sadly during the second (longer) part of my stay the chef was absent, which was a great disappointment and rather inconvenient (and no replacement chef was arranged). There is limited English spoken, though the team does their best to be helpful regardless. There is bike storage in the garage and the team didn’t seem fussed at guests bringing bike-bags into their room, which was appreciated. Overall, this was a ‘get what you pay’ for experience. I would stay here again, but only when the chef is working!

Great breakfast, although the lady wasn't speaking english, but it wasn't a problem, we just ordered tea and it was ok. The lady on the reception did speak english. Room was ok, big enough with a bathroom, great view of the mountains.

Amazing location and a super friendly atmosphere. Great breakfast and even got a good parking spot for the motorcycle. Will come again.

Location is perfect. Room is comfortable. The breakfast is good. I would like to express my gratitute to the staff as they helped a lot with the local police about my losing wallet so I can take it back smoothly. I can't thank them enough.
