The location is excellent. The view from the room was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. The food quality was very good. The restaurant staff was very nice and courteous.

“Welcoming family hotel”

We stayed at Hotel Posta for 5 nights in October 2025. Throughout our stay all the staff were very welcoming, informative & helpful making our visit a pleasure. Our room (20) was delightful with a lake view & balcony. The room was tastefully decorated with character items, a large en-suite, mini bar fridge & facilities for tea and coffee. The room was pleasantly warm during our stay & well serviced daily. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection & many locally sourced/made foods, all delicious, coffee & a few hot options were served to order. We also ate in the hotel restaurant (La Veranda) and the menu also reflected local produce beautifully presented. The location is quiet although with a ferry station opposite the hotel access to the Lake areas was really easy. Secure underground parking was also available. Good wi-fi provided  Overall we would highly recommend Hotel Posta particularly for the warmth of the welcome & quality food. Grazie mille

The location was perfect with a ferry just opposite. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful without exception. We had a great dinner one evening and breakfast was absolutely delicious with a full array of wonderful choice including home made bread. With it being family run, there is a charming warmth throughout. There’s a Pizza restaurant within the hotel with tables on the lakeside. Drinks also available on the lakeside. The rooms were immaculately clean.

The location was great & super close to the ferry (helps to avoid the lines at the bigger towns). The rooms were clean and decorated beautifully! The staff were amazing and super helpful (both via messages and face to face).

“A family run Italian hotel with great customer service”

This was our second visit and we were welcomed like esteemed guests. Our check in was a simple one as the receptionist had registered us with all our details from a previous visit 2 years ago. The hotel is incredibly dog friendly. Dogs can go anywhere in the hotel. The charges for the dog and parking were very reasonable. Three different options for eating. The cafe Bellini for more relaxed eating, the formal restaurant with rather more specialised menu, and a court yard bistro for anything from coffee to pizza etc etc. we sampled all three. The lake steamer station is just across the road, and has a good variety of stops along the lake.

The location is good, it is a family business and the people at the reception are the owners of the hotel and are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are old but adequate. If you are going to visit Como by ferry, there is a port for the ferry right across the street.

“Not worth the price, but the staff is great”

The location was not particularly good, the parking is not very far but we walked back in the rain with our luggage, on a narrow road with almost no sidewalk. The room was disappointing, under the roof, very hot, a very small shower, thin towels. Breakfast -a small selection is displayed on the buffet and for the rest you have to fill out a form , a particularly unpleasant feeling. But the staff is great and the dinner we had in the restaurant was excellent.
