I lowered the rating because in the room (a double used by a single guest) there was only one of each item: one pillow, one blanket, one large towel, one small towel. For example, I take a shower in the evening and again in the morning — one towel doesn’t dry fast enough by morning. I also enjoy reading in bed with two pillows for back support — not just one. In the U.S., it’s hard to imagine a hotel room that doesn’t come with multiple towels and pillows by default.

“Very Nice (wald) hotel in a beautiful and relaxed location”
Very nice hotel located in the forest right next to a lake. Very good hiking around the hotel. Food in the restaurant was good as well.. definitely recommend for a relaxed stay.

A very nice hotel situated in beautiful surroundings and nature. The room was very nice and clean, and the staff very nice and helpful. We would certainly like to come back and stay at Hotel Waldhalle again.

“Peaceful, calm getaway from everyday life”
The lake is ideal for impressionist painting, amazingly quiet and calm in the morning, awesome energy from the walks around or swimming in. Great breakfast and dinner on terrace with the view of the lake.

“Amazing stay, will definitely come back!!!”
Staff was extremely friendly and went the extra mile to get all we need to get ready for a wedding, the hotel is by a lake with lots of walk in the forest starting directly from the hotel door!!!
