Nice attic room with 3 windows and a fan for ventilation. Excellent location right by the river and directly across from a restaurant bar.

“Surperb staff with Camino Spirit”

We had an important item left behind in the room. Not only the staff was helpful to find it, several suggestions were offered on how to deliver it, and making the necessary arrangements for us. We got it back just in time, no change our trip plan at all!

Super easy to find, check-in instructions clear and it was easy to access the property. Room was up some pretty steep stairs - tough after that long descent from Foncebadon! - but it was quiet, a good temperature in the room and comfy beds. Breakfast was self service and there were choices for food and drink but no fresh milk so couldn’t make tea or have the cereal that was left out. No fresh juice which seemed to be a staple everywhere else on the camino. Property is very close to the river, benches and places to relax and eat within a few metres of the hostel so excellent location. Overall a good place to stop on your Camino!

We booked a large deluxe room with 2 single beds (request was approved). On arrival there was only one double bed. We were moved to a very cramped room in the attic with no room to move and put our stuff. No compensation was offered. The breakfast was not good. Only white bread. Glasses but no juices. Cereals but no milk or yoghurt. Only jam and butter, no cheese or ham.

“Very good Camino sleep”

I was there on February 11 when most Camino accommodations are still closed for the winter. Luggage transport is also a problem at that time of the year and they had a recommendation that worked well.

Good Location. Breakfast could have been better. Coffee was good.

The staff were absent for our entire stay. There was poor communication around checking in- no one was there, the door was locked and we were given no instructions about entering the property. Calls and messages were ignored. No one who stayed at this property had ever met the hosts. This is the most disappointing stay we have had on the Camino.

Central location with a host of amenities located nearby. Onsite restaurant and bar which served lovely food and refreshments. After a tough 24km descent into Mollanesca, shower and comfy beds were very welcomed. I stayed here in 2014 and the high standards have continued since then.

“Disappointing”

We didn't stay for the breakfast..there was no milk for the cereal or yoghurt or fruit juice in fridge as advertised.It was quite dark in the room and there were no instructions as to how to use coffee machine or juicer
