The room was very clean and Mr Kim was very hospitable. He put care into preparing the room and making sure we were comfortable throughout the stay. He even drove us to the port the in morning for our ferry to Jeju.

The host was amazing! He tried to help us with anything we asked him. He was really nice and welcoming. This is my second time coming here and it is still as great.

Host, Mr Kim is highly motivated to make guests comfortable. He live close by. Old Japanese era built house was totally renovated. All rooms have own bathrooms. There is a large common area for breakfast and hang out. Room was clean. Bathroom is bit small but well designed. Highly recommend.

As the guesthouse is located in an old building, the interiors are very pretty and cozy. Each detail is very curated, and the host is clearly passionate about his work. He was extremely kind as he served me breakfast and even gave me a ride to the ferry terminal in the morning. Had a great stay.

Mr Kim is very kind and drove us to the ferry in the morning (there are 2 ports to take the ferry in Mokpo, his house is near one of of them but the other one is 30 min away walking) Good breakfast Clean and cute room

“Excellent host, excellent stay”

The host (Mr Kin) could not be more friendly and helpful. Even before I arrived he checked how I was arriving and gave me directions from the ferry port as well as photos to help me find the hotel. The room was exactly as pictured, no surprises, and while it wasnt a big room, it had more than enough amenities and a small kitchen downstairs. The esthetic of the whole place was lovely, with unique decorations on the walls and soft music playing, very relaxing.

Mr Kim was amazing he used the translator to communicate with us & drove us to the ferry without charge. His hospitality knows no bounds!

“Cozy stay in Mokpo near ferry port”

Very cozy guest house, which is more than 100 years old, but it’s very comfortable and has everything what is needed for a short stay during holidays. The host is super friendly - he came early (at 7 am on Saturday) to prepare breakfast for us, took a Polaroid photo, hang it on the wall next to other guests, gave us 1 photo for the memory and even took us to morning ferry by his car, we sincerely appreciate it. Also location is very good - we came from train station by foot and it’s a very nice neighborhood, we had a pleasant walk after dinner.

The host is amazing!! He was so sweet and proactive and even gave us a ride twice because we arrived late and it rained.

Querky little guesthouse. Super nice and helpful owner. Close to plenty of places to eat and drink. Just the one night stay prior to getting ferry to JeJu , nice and close to ferry terminal and owner helpfully drove us there as well. Highly recommended.

“Fantastic host”

Mr Kim has to be the nicest host we've ever had. It felt like we were staying with a friend. He was full of helpful suggestions and information, he even did a screenshot so we could just show it to the taxi driver to make sure we got to the place we wanted to go later in the day. He also dropped us off at the ferry terminal in the morning. The guesthouse itself is lovely, beds were comfortable, AC worked well, hot shower, tea and coffee are provided in the communal kitchen, basic toiletries are provided in the room and breakfast was great (eggs, toast, jam, juices and coffee). We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone to book here. If I could give it a higher rating I would! Thanks again Mr Kim!

“Very good value for money !”

The host is a very nice and helpful person and reserved a parking space just in front of the guest house for us. The rooms were clean, air conditioned, and the beds comfortable. The location is fine, close to the ferries, restaurants, etc. Very good value for money !

The hotel is conveniently located in Mokpo. The rooms are really nice and very clean. The owner is marvelous, such a friendly person! He prepared a nice breakfast every morning. This is a place we will definitely remember!
