Very easy to get to from train,bus or ferry!! Location perfect to walk around harbour or the historic part

“Simple, clean and functional room. Good for solo traveller”

The room was clean and bed was pretty comfortable. It was pretty small, but good enough for one. It’s above a bar, but the sound proofing is really good and I couldn’t hear anything from downstairs at all. There’s a shared kitchen area, which was handy.

Excellently appointed. The rooms and facilities are top tier and sparkling clean. Sound proofing also excellent. Bed very comfortable. 2 min walk to fishing boat dock (pretty) and fish & veg market. 5 min walk to ferry. Genuine surroundings, plenty of restaurants. Short ride to many attractions and Mokpo station. Taxi KRW5,000-8,000.

The first night I wasn't able to sleep because the blinds are very thin and there was a very bright street lamp outside. I explained this to the staff and they moved me to another room where I slept well. Hopefully, they have fixed the problem with the blinds. It's a good location in a historic area. There's a pub downstairs but no noise. The beer is good.

Very nice little hotel with a pub at the ground floor. The room was small but comfortable, very clean and with all amenities. Well located close to the station and walking distance to the ferry terminal. Staff was super welcoming and friendly, had a great time!

You’re welcomed by the staff downstairs in the pub, when checkin in you’re offered a free drink and some snacks. Staff was very friendly but didn’t speak English very well. Seems like it’s mostly locals staying here which is a plus for me

Close to the train station. Staff is amazing. There is a pub downstairs run by the comunity, and they offer food made with local produce, it was delicious! We got a complimentary beers as well!! Rooms are comfortable and really clean. Its quiet during the night, could tell if there were other guests.

Location is great, close to both train and ferry terminal. Right next to the fish market, and close to historical locations if you have the time to explore. The guesthause has a pub with delicious food, and is run by local community that promotes their product both for food and beverages. The dried seafood is exceptional. The staff is really friendly, thank you for the patience when we try to communicate! I would definitely come back especially for the dried mackerel!

“A great memory”

It was simple, you can fix it by yourself, no limited ime, you can come when you want. We were welcomed very friendly and we got a beer and a snack for free for each night we stayed. It is a community owned pup and guesthouse that makes it very personally. Interisting neighborhood: old town district, art, harbor.

Comfortable place above a nice pub, but it was not loud at night. Short walk to the harbour and nanyeong park.

The staff at Geonmeak is very friendly to solo traveller. The welcome drink at the pub is definately a plus. The neighbourhood has a good local vibes supporting the fishery industry. I only felt welcomed at this place! The location is definately central to. Ferry terninal and the train station.

“Not terrible, but you can probably do better”

If you're in Mokpo for the ferry, this hotel is nicely located about half-way between the train station and the ferry port (an easy 10-12 min walk from each). It has some little communal areas where you can sit and read or work on a computer or (if you're with friends) chat and have a drink.
