Beautiful place. Every detail for the pilgrim has been thought through. Warm and generous welcome from the host. Amazing breakfast. Lovely restaurant across the road for pilgrim dinner. If you can afford to stay here, do it!

“Relaxing comfy stay in a good quiet location”

The location of the hotel was easy to find and near a station for easy access to Santander. The room was lovely with a very comfy bed. The bathroom had an excellent bath & shower with lovely body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The staff and the owner were really friendly. There was a good breakfast.

Beautiful property with a lovely garden. The proprietor Laurie & staff were very nice & helpful, very accommodating, including Beau the dog 😁🐕‍🦺. Lovely breakfast, & very handy for a restaurant & the station.

It was a little haven of peace ,beautifully renovated with fabulous taste. Breakfast was great. Bar next door easy for dinner.

Laurie and her team were more than amazing. Myself and 4 pals were starting a stage of Camino del Norde from here (instead of walking all the way out from Santander to here). Laurie couldnt have been more helpful. Spent a wonderful evening in her beautiful gardens enjoy a nice vino. Local restaurant was closed so instead she cooked up the most amazing pizzas for us. Guided us off to our camino with a 4km saving detour. Which was most appreciated. Highly recommend this location.

“Fabulous place to stay”

Fantastic room for price with great TV, sky lights and ventilation. Very clean and nice shower and bathroom, staff were very lovely and accomodating, even asked us how we liked our eggs cooked in the morning. Could not ask for a better stay, absolutely recommend, very good for Camino travellers as well

We had a fabulous stay here. It is a really beautiful place. Our hostess was fantastic. She couldn't do enough for us. We really enjoyed our drinks in d garden prior to eating a delicious meal which was cooked for us as d restaurant next door was closed. Breakfast was fabulous, so well prepared and presented and with great variety. We had a wonderful stay here.

Everything about the place was excellent.We were made to feel so welcome on our arrival and so was our dog. The rooms are excellent and the garden was so nice to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine outdoors. The breakfast likewise was extremely good. Can’t fault the place and will definitely be staying again..nice bar/ restaurant next door with excellent atmosphere.

Wonderful old building in beautiful grounds. Good breakfast. Quiet location. English speaking owner. A relaxing, delighful experience. Value for money.
