A lovely little resort town, still intact and nearly untouched by commercialization, and nestled in an enchanted countryside. The hotel itself also has some of the atmosphere of times gone by -- in a good way!

“Great Hotel for a fantastic price”
The Dinner was absolute brilliant! Great taste for a good price! The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! Only one bed was a little short, but ok for me (177cm tall). We would definitly come again!

The location, size of the room, view from the room, staff behaviours, and mostly the food quality and taste was amazing, the portion served highly sufficient for one person in reasonable price. They have parking available in front of the hotel. Highly recommended. Last not the least they have an old vintage category lift, which will gives you time shift vibe.

Beautiful iconic hotel in the heart of Šumava National Park, directly in Modrava, virtually next to all major natural attractions of the Park. Delicious breakfast buffet (fresh bakery even on national holiday and in the heart of the National Park!), reasonably priced private sauna, free parking, helpful and nice staff,... 10/10!
