“Exceptional - we loved it!”
Unique and amazing apartment, set into the bottom of an old castle. It was modern, spacious and simple with handmade and antique touches, great lighting and natural materials. Better than the photos show. I loved seeing the history of the space respected and reflected while still having all modern comforts and style. These types of places can be cold and humid and block wifi, but with a dehumidifier and good aircon/heating and router, we were comfortable and connected. The owner was really nice, helpful and responsive. Great location close to restaurants and sights. Loved it.

The room is a very special which is not comparable to any others. By knowing we arrive early, they tried to prepare the room ready before our arrival which was so great!

“A very special place for those who want to experience the real Sicilian history”
What an unique and beautiful place! It feels like sleeping in a medieval chamber, full of history. Amazing place to stay while visiting Modica. It might get a bit chilly, which it's actually an advantage during a hot Sicilian summer, and in the spring/winter season, I recommend to bring woolen socks and a warm jumper. Very centrally located, next to charming bars and restaurants, with free parking 3 min walk from the appartment. If you are looking for a stay in a very special, unique place, La Postierla won't disappoint you.
