We only stayed for one night at Casa del Vicolo Stretto, yet it was enough to experience such attention to detail from the hosts. The room was exceptionally clean (even the top of the a/c was meticulously wiped), the mattress was great and there were plenty of amenities for the guests.

This is a very quaint, beautiful storybook house. Its comfortable and we were spoilt with electric blankets in very cold weather. The beds were comfortable and the location is perfect.

“Comfortable apartment in a great location”

The location was excellent and the apartment made a great base for exploring Modica. The host was very kind and helpful - he met us in person to make the arrival easy and gave recommendations for cafes, restaurants and a local mini supermarket. There's a lovely little courtyard out front, which was a nice place to relax.

We got some instructions from Giovanni where to go to eat and have a breakfast. I truly recommend this place. It is cosy and has a great atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at Case del Vicolo Stretto. The check-in was super easy and we loved the place. Everything was perfect.

“Great Location, Gorgeous Comfortable property & Lovely Hosts”

This property was booked as a last minute break and we loved the property and the hosts. The property is a gem in the historic Basa area of Modica. The property has a communal sitting area and kitchen on the ground floor and upstairs are 2 ensuite bedrooms that can be booked as 1 property or as we did by the room. The cottage has the most beautiful small flower filled courtyard at the front and we spent lots of time sitting in this little area having a glass of wine and our morning coffee. We also ate dinner in the courtyard 1 evening. Our room was large spacious and comfortable with a little sitting area and a good size bathroom, The room overlooked the narrow alleys and the courtyard garden. There was plenty of storage in the room and the communal fridge downstairs also has separate areas labelled for each room. Dogs are welcome at this property. The kitchen has the basics that are needed to cook a meal. The property has Wi-Fi. Free parking is a 5 minute walk from the property as the property is in a narrow alley there is no direct car access. The property is a 3 minute walk from 2 supermarkets and other local shops and cafes. The property also comes with several other accommodation options that the host kindly showed us and would be a great place for a large family to stay. We are already planning to return to this fantastic property in the cooler months.

The host is lovely and welcoming, with the house tucked away in a quiet side street, with a peaceful courtyard outside. The beds are comfortable with lovely aircon and natural light. 10 minute walk to the main town centre.

The apartment was absolutely charming, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The host kindly showed us a free parking spot right in front of the apartment, which was incredibly convenient and saved us a lot of time. Everything was perfect—I highly recommend it!

Modica is an incredible town with very friendly citizens and great food. We genuinely enjoyed our stay in the welcoming cosy apartment. The host was always available and gave us great recommendations for places in the neighbourhood. The location is superb to enjoy the best of the old town.

“Perfect place to stay in Modica”

We stayed in the one bedroom house which was small and perfectly formed. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay is provided. Extremely clean, comfortable bed and pillows, a home from home. We loved the private little terrace off the bedroom which catches a lot of sunshine. Very well located just off the main road but tucked away so it's very quiet and peaceful and two minutes walk from local cafes. Check in was so easy as Giovanni arranged to meet us and escorted us to the house. He is such a lovely guy and gave us lots of information about Modica, things to do and suggested places to eat. Its very obvious that Giovanni and his wife are passionate about offering their guests a wonderful stay. Thank you
