I would add that the owners welcome you as if you were part of the family, all the more so if you speak Italian, although their daughter speaks perfect English. And they will bend over backwards to please you and meet your requests. A great place to be and enjoy.

This was a lovely stone house in the cute town of Frigintini, near Modica and Ragusa. It served as a great base to the whole southwest part of Sicily. The house was very clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen, a comfy living room, two nice bedrooms with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom and a lovely, large outside terrace that overlooked a large field. The washing machine was great to have too. The owners were great to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet location in small town, away from busy tourist centres. Central to all one would want to see and do. Everything at one’s fingertips. Close to shops and doctor. Plenty of shade.

“Wonderful gem in the countryside.”
The family was very welcoming and helpful. The daughter spoke very good English, which helped overcome our almost non existant Italian.The facilities and rooms were very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with an outdoor bbq if required. The aircon was really cool. There was a lounge with a TV and Netflix. Outside, there was a large private patio with dining tables and an area with swinging chairs sheltered from the sun and overlooking the carrubbo, olive, and fig trees. Very quiet at night. And the local town has several good eating places which don't open until around 7.30 but rapidly fill up when they do. The family has a restaurant and gelateria down at the coast. The ice cream is genuinely wonderful, I have had a lot of Italian ice cream, and this ranks in the top 3. It is a good base to see Modica, Ragusa, and Notto. But we just enjoyed being there for a few days as well.
