Fabio our host was superb in every way possible, he is friendly, ammeniable, always smiling & chatting away, his bar which is located above the property is a little treasure with the best staff, the location is great but there are a lot of steps to & from the main street, we stayed here for two weeks & absolutely loved it the cathedral next door is stunning, all the people we met were so friendly & accommodating with our next to no pidgeon italian.

As if I feel that I am close to heaven It was so quiet and peaceful close to the cathedral. The bar where the breakfast is just above the property. Fabio who manage the property and the bar is so very kind and compassionate that he always ask you what you want for breakfast and tell where the best places to go in and nearby Modica.

Location is exception and host (Fabio) was very helpful. The Bar Duomo is connected to the property and was very good for nice light breakfast and evening pre-dinner cocktail. The room was comfortable and kitchen had all of the appointments we needed.

Fabio is very welcoming and has created a homely atmosphere. His breakfast in the upstairs cafe is delicious. His homemade granita is a must-try…simply delicious.

It is impossible to write enough about this place and especially the owner. The accommodation is situated in a beautiful location and offers all the comforts. There was even a washing machine and an iron available, which we appreciated halfway through our travels. Mr. Fabio is incredibly kind and hospitable. Every morning he prepared a wonderful breakfast for us, and his friendliness and kindness are beyond description. Thank you very much, and we hope to return here someday.

“Nice apartment in the oldtown Modica”

Very nice apartment next to the Duomo di San Giorgio. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and there was a parking space (better for small cars) next to the apartment. Above our apartment is the Bar del Duomo, managed by the owner, where we had an excellent breakfast with Sicilian specialties every day. We highly recommend this apartment.

The hospitality is something special. We were treated to a fantastic breakfast every morning in the bar above the flat, and we were left wanting for nothing. The duomo di San Giorgio is literally next door. I look forward to returning and will stay here again.

The location was perfect. The owner who has the cafe above the unit is very friendly and serves an awesome italian breakfast. Tne cafe above the unit closes at 4pm, so did not bother us at all.

The property is a cosy house with everything you need. The bar is just above the house where you can have a great breakfast, where you can find the very friendly and helpful host. The location is fantastic. Located around the cute old town of Modica.
