“Brilliant. Seclusion whilst fun.”

This is my second time staying at the Blue Orchid, in which I finally completed my PADI open water course. My instructor, Nathan, was fantastic and made me feel so at ease. Other than that, all the staff and the owner were so lovely and kind and really made me feel at ease during my stay. The homestyle food was great. I visit Moalboal semi-regularly, and I love the Blue Orchid for the location. The town is accessible if you NEED/WANT to go, but you're not nearby all the craziness and get a chance to escape. The rooms are spacious, light, and you have a GREAT sea view. They even gave me a free upgrade from a standard twin to a double deluxe, as they saw I was staying with my boyfriend.

A very quiet and relaxing place. As a diver, it was perfect for me since they offer boat dives directly from the resort through their PADI 5★ dive center. The resort is located right on the beachfront with direct access to the ocean. Snorkeling is also possible, and the snorkeling equipment is provided free of charge. A special thank you to Michael and his wife for their warm hospitality and for making us feel so welcome during our stay. I would be happy to come back.

Whats not to like! Garden oasis, the cool canopy, the position, the outlook, the staff, the food & drinks. The rooms were comfy with everything you need. The peace & tranquility. Just the sound of waves, birds wind trees gekkos. So many amazing things to do and see but also the perfect place to do nothing but enjoy the beaty & serenity. Have a morning snorkle with the turtles. Eat drink read a book watch the water, the mountains the sky.

The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, options and quality, better and cheaper than a neighbouring resort we ate at. The tranquillity of the resort design and gardens is lovely, all rooms with a sense of seclusion and peace. For us it was worth the extra dollars for the large, 'honeymoon' suite. The options on tours also excellent, boat, diving and snorkelling right at the door ready for adventure!

The manager is very friendly and attentive, helps you with booking activities around the island and gives you local recommendations. The bed was huge and comfortable with a mosquito net, but you really don't need it since you have AC. Rooms have a semi-private patio to chill.

Staff were helpful in assisting us with trips and a mosquito net for our room as well as wait staff with dietary requirements. Being so close to the ocean was amazing, food was nice and an overall peaceful stay.

“Fantastic!”

I stayed here with my family in the lead-up to Christmas, and I cannot express how happy we were. Upon arrival, the lady at reception was instantly so helpful and gave me so many ideas about activities to do here (as I didn't have a clue!). The beds were fantastic, and the shower was really lovely. I even tried diving for the first time here with a DSD, and the instructor was so patient with me. If you come, you must try the schnitzel with fries-- It was the BEST!

“A hidden gem”

Relaxing accomodation out of town. We loved swimming in the pool and snorkelling in the sea. We even saw some turtles. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Love the free water refill - no plastic bottles. Very comfortable beds and the cleaning was impeccable! Such a relaxing place to stay.

“Very simple room, beautiful vew, far from the center”

The vew from the resort is wonderful, nice and soecial open area for dinning, the garden is very beautiful , the owner is very nice, very friendly and warm, and has a unique life story. his staff are very polite and very nice. The restaurant is nice , clean and simple, open and serve all day simple and basic food. The resort is short beautiful walking distance from the white beach, 20 minutes of walking along the beach.
