“Exceptional accomodation”

We appreciated the size and cleanliness of our bungalow, the fact it had no odour and the aircon was quiet. The gardens are very pretty and the view from the bar area is fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our best accommodation experience in the Phillipines

- superfriendly staff who went above and beyond to help us with everything, arranging transport, scooters, things to see and visit. Super nice! - the resort was beautiful, very calm and everything was very clean and well taken care of - the food was nice, the drinks were cold, all we could have asked for and more!

It was one of the nicest stays we’ve had. You have a stunning view on the sea and can easily spot turtles. You have a direct access to the water and can rent everything you need to snorkel ! Everyone was very nice and helpful. Moalboal’s main street is easy to access in a 10-15 minutes tricycle ride.

“Fantastic gem of a place.”

What a gem, the views from the garden were amazing & the snorkeling was exceptional, we saw turtles & even a couple of sea snakes & a baby octopus! Lisa was very helpful with all our bookings. Although there’s no restaurant on site, it was very easy to order from the local JG’s restaurant & the food was great!

We had a wonderful stay at Sambag Hideaway Hotel — the perfect start to our trip in the Philippines. The location in Moalboal is great: close to everything by scooter, yet peaceful and away from the busy areas. A big thank you to Ate Lisa and the rest of the crew for the excellent communication and support. She helped us arrange a scooter, plan our route to Siquijor, and was always ready with solutions for anything we needed. She also helped us choose the best activities during a busy period, which we really appreciated. The flexible room cleaning service was another nice touch. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend Sambag Hideaway!

“Authentic Stay”

Sambag was very clean and charming. There was hot water , our laundry was done and the staff were amazing especially Lisa. We booked the Sardine and falls experience with Lisa which were so good. She even arranged for the boat to collect us from the hotel. Lisa helped at every turn , and spoke to my next hotel on another island to make sure we were getting the right ferry’s. Breakfast is great and we ordered one night which was also excellent.

Staff were very friendly, eager to help and quick to respond. Views from the property are great with water and snorkeling access direct..away from the major noise of the town but very close to get to.

Amazing garden with bar and own private beach. Staff were fantastic and very accommodating - Lisa in particular was great! Location is good short tuktuk to either Panagsama or Moalboal towns and staff helped us book this. Rooms comfortable and clean

The location was lovely right on the seafront. The highlight was the staff, so lovely, kind, caring. Could not do enough for you. Lisa makes the stay so relaxing, she organised everything for us and was fantastic at suggesting ideas and looking after us. Very honest and transparent! Could not recommend staying here enough for an authentic homely stay in the Moalboal area!

Amenities/Facilities: Bar/patio on-site. Direct access to the water with rentable gear for various water activities. Food: Solid breakfast available at reasonable prices. Local restaurant (JG's Grill) offers free delivery to this location. Location: Quiet location away from hustle and bustle of Panagsama beach. It is suggested to rent a motorcycle for getting around Moalboal. Staff: The best part of the stay. Lisa and Pedong particularly made a huge impression on me during my visit. Not only did they assist me with renting a motorcycle and scheduling my Moalboal activities, they also went above and beyond to assist me when my phone was dropped in water while canyoneering.

Location- very calm, quite, beautiful wiev, beautiful garden. In the water by hotel- the turtles :)))). Comfortable apartment. The crew very supportive and nice. I will return here.

So beautiful and peaceful and it has a snorkelling reef as a pool! We saw turtles and laid around the beautiful cliff top relaxing area. The staff and Lisa were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. It’s not far from Panagsama beach where there is beautiful food and cheap massages ( best massages hands down)
