“Relaxed property with good location”

The location was great, short walk from the main road making the property quieter. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the rooms all good.

I really liked and appreciated the following: 1) hospitality of the Roos's team; 2) location - quiet and close at the same time to the street full of bars / restaurants; 3) hearty breakfasts - Philippino one must try; 4) availability to book tours at the property; 5) yard atmosphere and the facility itself; 6) attitude of the staff: I needed to buy aqua shoes and when I asked the staff where to go, they gave me aqua shoes for free to wear them for the time of stay. Someone forgot it before. It was so nice from their side.. Then I had a birthday and they greeted me surprisingly. It was so cute; 7) Plus they give for their guests vouchers (one per person) for welcome drink at one of the shore lounges.

“Home away from home”

Such a good central location which is walking distance to great restaurants and bars as well as the famous sardine spot. The owner was super friendly and organised a seamless transfer to and from Cebu airport for us. The complimentary breakfast is such a nice touch and they were kind enough to pack us takeaway breakfasts when we had very early mornings. A great shower with hot water and excellent pressure. The owners also own a bar called Tila’s which we spent a lot of time at as we would leave our stuff there and then just walk down the stairs and swim 40m out to the sardines and then come back for the happy hour deals!

It was central but also out the way enough to be away from everything. Felt safe and secure and the staff were amazing.

Location was amazing. Staff were lovely. The rooms were clean. The guest house organised our transfers to and from Cebu Airport, including various activities. The accomodation itself was quiet, off the busy road, and was very pretty.

Staff was amazing and very helpful. They have great tour packages around the region. Breakfast had limited but good options and a la carte style, which is my favorite. Free coffee and filtered water.

This place is so nice. The staff were extremely serviceminded and always smiling. There are only 4 rooms jet but there will come 4 more. This was a very silent area away from the noisy streets.

“Good choice in Moalboal”

Very nice and friendly staff. It is a bit away from the traffic of the main road, so more quiet. There are a few cocks in the night, but you get ear plugs in case it will disturb your sleep. Nice views into the green from the balcony. One of the few rooms with a clever electrical installation. Power sockets where you need them and a silent aircon. Folder with good information in every room.

We loved everything about about stay here, the girls and the owners working there were so attentive and helpful in everything we asked for! The breakfast every morning was delicious. The staff was great to help us out with organising the tours and renting a scooter. Thank you for making our stay so great!

Felt like family here! Met one of the owners and he was really lovely and was really knowledgeable about the area. Everyone was really attentive and nice.

“Super stay”

Perfect location for peace & quiet but everything you need is within a 5 minute walk. The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They provide you lots of suggestions for trips out and will happily arrange these for you. Nice to have tea/coffee and water available at no extra charge. Breakfast is lovely and served when you want it, not at a set time. The room is small but has everything you need and having an outside space to sit is a bonus.

The guesthouse was very clean, and we felt well taken care of from the first moment. Everything was perfectly organized for us. The location was ideal and the host was very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a great stay here. The owners and staff are very welcoming and take care of everything you need. Everywhere is clean and comfortable and breakfast is lovely, location couldn’t be better! We booked day trips and rented scooters with them which all worked out great.

I cannot recommend Roos Guesthouse enough for anyone staying in Moalboal! The accommodation itself is gorgeous, the rooms and bar/eating area are super clean and tidy. The location is perfect, all restaurants, shops and cafes are just a minutes walk away and yet the Guesthouse is a quiet and calm place to stay. The staff are another brilliant thing about Roos. They were so welcoming and helpful throughout our whole stay. They organised an airport transfer for us, day trips and anything else that we needed! The breakfast that was served daily was delicious, as was the additional food that they offered. This is absolutely the best place to stay in Moalboal! Thank you for a brilliant stay!

Attentive staff who were really helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed! Good location and a great breakfast that was flexible so that if we wanted a later start, or if we started very early and wanted to have the breakfast much later after a rest, we still could! Very cute cat as well! The lovely staff who cared for us really made the trip special for us!
