The location was very quiet and conveniently close to the main street. The greenery was the highlight—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the morning. Rowena was very friendly and helped us to pick up from Cebu City to Palmera Palma.

Everything from the warm welcome from Rowena to the genuine care and attention the whole staff offered us, we were extremely happy and comfortable in our accommodations. Even from before we arrived, Mike and Joan kept in contact with us to ensure we were well-prepped. Beautiful setting, close to everything, super safe.

All was great, owners helped us to contact Canyoneering stuff, as we don't have local nr. And we rented scooters from the hotel and went up to check hills and to the white beach. Perfect stay! P.s. Bring your adapter for charging, we bought in the small shop nearby.

I recently stayed at Palmera Palma Resort in Moalboal, and it was a peaceful and refreshing escape from the city. They were attentive to requests and they gave us a spare key of the gate in case we were out late. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a calm space to rest after a day of exploring Moalboal. One of the highlights of the resort is its quiet and serene atmosphere. It’s perfect for travelers who want to unwind, enjoy nature, and avoid crowded tourist hostels. The location is also convenient, as it is walking distance to the beach, snorkeling spots, and restaurants/diners. Overall, Palmera Palma Resort is a lovely choice for a tranquil getaway in Moalboal. I would highly recommend it for couples, family or anyone looking for a calm and intimate stay close to nature.

“Perfect!”

What a fabulous place to stay! Our very spotless and spacious room was beneath the room with the balcony as seen in the photographs. We had two lovely outdoor seating areas directly in front of our room, where we breakfasted or sat and relaxed with a book and enjoyed the gorgeous gardens. Our bathroom was a large wet-room, with a great shower - once I worked out the right knobs to turn! The room was very tastefully decorated. In fact, I photographed 2 pieces of art and will be replicating them in our house as a reminder of this wonderful stay. There were facilities to make a hot drink and a fridge to keep drinks cool. I requested a towel change after a couple of days and was immediately supplied with more - freshly laundered, too! It became apparent that our AC was malfunctioning. Staff tried to identify the problem, but couldn't, and so the entire unit was replaced the next day, with a large fan to use in the meantime! Incredible service. I must also mention that some of our important belongings which we didn't carry around with us, were inadvertently mixed up in the bedding when staff (not being aware of our safe place), had changed the bed. My OH brought this to the attention of the staff who said they would investigate. A short time later all the items were discovered in amongst laundry waiting to be done, and were returned to us. Again, incredible service...........and integrity! There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen for guests to use, and we found everything we needed in terms of utensils, dishes, cutlery, glasses etc. This is a family-run business and every single member of this multi-generational family was utterly charming, helpful and kind. We loved our stay!

“Home from home in the heart of Moalboal.”

We spent 10 days in the foxtail room. It us a really big space with a separate bathroom and a nice outdoor area for sitting and relaxing which is sheltered from the sun and rain. Our host Rowena is gorgeous, she is always around to help with anything you need.

Rowena was an excellent property manager—she organised all our activities in Moalboal upon our arrival and provided us with plenty of helpful information about the area. The location was perfect: peaceful and tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the sardine sanctuary.
