“Heartwarming place with everything you need in Moalboal.”

Janice & the rest were very accommodating and the best! We were heartly welcomed and they helped us with all kinds of things (laundry, transport, motorbike, actvities) always with a smile. The accomodation itself was also great with a pool, very clean and spacious rooms and a shared kitchen you can use freely.

Great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy. Room had Mini bar and coffee facilities. Nice pool and outdoor area. Drinks available for purchase. Complimentary water. In a quiet area approx. 10 minute walk from the busy part of town.

“Spacious, peaceful, comfortable”

The room was so clean, spacious and comfortable - plenty of room to put my yoga mat down for some exercise in the nice and air conditioned room. The bed was comfortable and it was a nice location - far enough away from the loud center but still walking distance. Janice and her family were also such great hosts. I enjoyed my stay so much I extended by another 5 days!

Bernis place was amazing. Janice was so accommodating and helpful, the place was small and intimate for older travel needs without feeling like a party hostel. Room was big and spacious and use of bike and close proximity to town was incredible as well as the pool. Would def recommend and would happily return too.

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were also very helpful and friendly and able to assist with organising local transport if needed. Overall, it was a great place to stay especially if you are looking for a quieter area away from Panagsama Beach.

The host Janice (and Bruno the dog) were lovely! The pool area was great to relax, laundry service was good, we were offered help with transport, excursions etc. Room was good for the money and fitted our needs.

Loved our stay here! Berni and Janice are so welcoming, gave some great recommendations for places to eat, and sorted our airport transfers no problem. The pool area is great! Room so spacious and bed comfortable. Restaurant next door also really good! Walk into town very easy.

“Perfect stay for moalboal and host makes it a easy and pleasant experience”

Great location it’s just off the main strip by about 10 minutes walk, cheap tricycle every night also in the direction of the white beach which is the main beach everyone goes too!, Janice was helpful & the most friendly host with anything we needed and responded to any issues we had! Room was super clean and air con was good with a fan to help aswell!, Would recommend to anyone trying to stay In Moalboal

Bernie and Janice were excellent hosts, after a very long day (we drove from Cebu City 🤣 madness) we arrived and they offered us food and beer which was well received. They also have scooter hire and can arrange the day trips for you.

Berni’s Hostel is without a doubt the best stay in MoalBoal. Janice and Berni were so welcoming. They helped us with every need we had from taxi to activities to restaurant recommandation. They did it all. They also have their own scooters to rent wich makes it easier. Also, the hostel is just a 10min walk from the center. It’s the perfect balance between accessibility and quiet night. Thank you again Berni and Janice for everything! 🙏

“Would highly recommend Bernis Hostel”

We had a very pleasant stay at Bernie’s, from the moment we walked in we felt welcome and truly at home. Janice, Bernie and the hostel staff we great and there if you needed anything. We rented a motorbike from them and had our laundry washed here. The room was lovely, nice and spacious and had everything you would need which we find hard to come by in Philippines. The pool was great the cool down in and the dog Bruno was very friendly! We would definitely recommend staying here when in Moalboal if you’re after a quiet and relaxing stay away from the loud town centre. We did a night in the town centre and left immediately to go to Bernie’s and was the best decision we made!

Hospitable hosts who help with all questions and tour arrangements. A very clean and fairly spacious room, clean bathroom with hot water. very quiet place for Phillipines. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the center with bars and sardines, and about 20 minutes or 200 pesos by tricycle to White Beach. There’s a stylish café in the neighboring building. Excellent value for money)

- great owner - good location (10 minutes away from the most crowded place -》 highly recommend when you want to be central but also in a calm place with good air. The 10 minutes walk is maybe not the best and safest at night in the dark, maybe to take a tricycle/scooter would be better then for a few cents) - free scooter parking - free outside kitchen - love the calm dog Brono 🐕 ❤️ - swimming pool (and because the hostel has only 4 rooms it is super calm) - rooms are comfortable

A small, quiet, high-quality hostel, cozy and comfortable. The hosts Bernie and Janice are charming and did everything to make our stay pleasant. Mancom has a pool, a self-service kitchen, laundry services and motorbike rental. 10 minutes walk from the center where there are many restaurants and a beach for snorkeling.

Bernis hostel has everything you need, and is only a short walk away from moalboal noisy center. Berni and Janice are adorable hosts and will help with everything. Special tips : go snorkeling with berni's neighbor, Nick, as a guide, he is amazing
