“Relaxed Hotel with NIce View”

The hotel room was spacious and the beds really comfortable. The room had a private toilet, so the shower was the only shared space. Everything was clean and organized :) The shared space is big and has a pretty cool view to the ocean.

I really enjoyed staying here at the little garden, such a beautiful view of the ocean and a really convenient location, a must stay if you’re checking out the Miyazaki coast. The hosts were great and owner Yoshi was such a nice bloke who was super accomodating! Thanks guys, will be back!

“A beautiful place by the beach in the mountains of Uchiumi”

A really wonderful place hidden uphill just a short walk from the beach. I went in December and was still able to go in the sea one day with a wetsuit. The hosts are very friendly and curious about their tenants, and they're very respectful of your privacy even in the shared kitchen/living area. The view of the sea and mountains from the living/kitchen was spectacular and I spent most of my mornings/evenings working there. The shared bathrooms downstairs are separated into individual shower rooms and are kept very clean. It surprised me that the bus stop is so close (7 min walk) and the bus can take you to opposite ends of the Miyazaki area very fast. I would recommend the bus over the train if you're not driving, but there is also the option of walking roughly 20mins to the train station if needed.

Just an awesome experience. Yoshi is great with excellent local knowledge. Handy laundromat across the lane.

“Cozy, nice view, good value for money.”

This place was amazing! From the staff who checked us in, to the views. We have been travelling around Japan for a month and this place had the comfy-est bed. It was so cozy and the veiw was amazing. We stayed in room 201 I believe. We got our own toilet and sink but shared shower. Such a good stay for $80 AUD.

“Our favourite stay in Japan”

Yoshi-san’s place up on the hill is outstanding! Definitely recommended if you have a vehicle of your own, and especially if you are hanging out for a little while to surf. It’s beautifully clean, peaceful, social, and if you get the chance for a room with ocean views take it!! Otherwise you will enjoy equally lovely views from the common lounge area. An absolute delight to stay at.
