Only a 10-minute walk from JR Kodomo no Kuni Train Station, Route Inn Grantia Aoshima Taiyokaku features modern accommodations. “Good location, great staff”
Good location. Easy access to the beach and train station. Breakfast is fine. Staff is very sweet and helpful, they helped me book a taxi for the airport and tried to book a restaurant in the area for me. Very pleasant

“Will come back to Route Inn if we come back to Aoshima in future”
Service staff were very courteous, be it at front counter or at the restaurant. Breakfast and parking were complimentary. Their onsen was good too!

The Onsen was amazing, the rooms are rather spacious, launderette is easy to use. Definitely recommend for anyone wishing to stay at Aoshima. Both train stations are about 10 minutes on foot, the lighthouse is about 1.5 km away. Perfect.

The Route Inn was lovely to stay in for the two nights we were in Aoshima. The breakfast was delicious and varied a lot each day. Staff were welcoming and eager to help and the Onsen was a treat to visit. Also we were very impressed with the manga room! It had quite an extensive collection

I LOVE this hotel. It was my first hotel in Japan so it was a great introduction to Japan. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there is an onsen inside the hotel which I LOVED. Do keep in mind that they do not allow individuals with tattoos inside the onsen. The breakfast is Japanese style traditional breakfast where you sit on the floor (you can also sit on a chair if you want to as they are availabe) and the food is wonderful. The room is a little small but I think that is expected seeing as it is Japan but it was great value for money!

“To see the sea”
Route Inn is my favourite chain hotel because they always have an excellent buffet breakfast and a big shared bath. This one is a 'Grandia', which has an onsen and outdoor bath in place of the usual 'sento' bath, as well as a 'ganbanyoku' hot rock room, reading room with lots of manga and aesthetic salon for massage etc. Great views of the sea (and full moon rising above it when we were there) from the restaurant and the breakfast dining room. Located on a hill a little back from the main beach road, within walking distance of the surf beach.

The hotel was quite cosy great view of the sea just a shame it didn't stop raining The staff where wonderful . On our floor there were a couple of noisy guys 😕 who where having fun and keeping us awake when they wouldn't keep quiet the night manager moved us to another room
