We had a great stay at Renn. It is like a private villa, so comfortable and peaceful in its green surroundigs. Our host Renn-san was extremely friendly, polite and helpful, e.g. in suggesting us nice restaurants and good beaches for snorkeling. And the Okinawan breakfasts prepared by his mother were excellent in variety and taste. We are definitely recommending this resort!

The host was amazing, so welcoming and unbelievably helpful with great recommendations for restaurants and beaches to go snorkelling. Breakfasts were a feast, beautifully presented and amazing array of dishes. Room was very comfortable with a beautiful walk in shower.

“Best Miyako experience”

We read a lot of positive reviews of Renn san, owner of the hotel before deciding to book and all reviews are so true. Renn san is like our guide in Miyako, not only recommending the best beaches for snorkeling and food, but also help us book restaurants in advance considering most restaurants only accept reservation in advance. We were also very anxious before our trip due to typhoon approaching and Renn san’s reply gave us peace of mind. Renn san’s hospitality is beyond words. He provided beach towels and a bucket for lighting fireworks for us after knowing what we planned to do. I have never met a hotel host as amazing as Renn san.

My stay was truly wonderful. I recommend having a car, but the location is perfect for starting day trips. The accommodation is clean, set in a peaceful area, and offers a breathtaking view of the sea. Mr. Renn was extremely courteous, helpful, and friendly.

We love the architecture of the property. It’s simply special. The room is well-equipped everything we needed. The views from the balcony and the roof terrace were stunning. The owner, Renn, is super friendly, helpful and kind. He gave us great tips for sightseeing, useful tips and restaurant accommodation, and was always available. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Its setting in the south east of the island, a short distance from the best beaches, but far away from the big resort hotels that obscure the beauty of the environment. It offers a truly authentic experience of the island that is very rare to find when discovering a new place. The hotel itself is a striking design statement. Each room has a lovely covered balcony with a sea view as well as an open roof terrace above the room with the same beautiful view. The roof terrace is the perfect place to watch the sun rise. The fittings are also of the highest quality with a large, stylish bathroom, including a shower from which the sky is visible. It feels like living in a luxurious private house, utterly peaceful and far removed from the usual signs of tourism. Breakfasts are fantastic. I had breakfasts on two days. I felt treated to the best home cooking by a really knowledgeable cook. I can’t remember eating better breakfasts anywhere in the world in many years of travelling. The owner was the perfect host who made my trip richer for his local knowledge and recommendations of the best places to see. As a non Japanese speaker without a car, his support both before and during my stay was invaluable.
