Amazing stay at the Allamanda Imgya Coral Village, staff were superb, professional and friendly at all times. The snorkelling and swimming off the beach by the hotel was amazing, you also had the variety and options within the other resorts within the Shigira resort complex to explore both beach wise and food wise. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, laid out in traditional japanese way. Only thing that could have elevated the setup was if the rooms here had water views but it didn't hinder the experience. Breakfast was good with variety of japanese and western options, food quality was very high. Dining out at the other hotel restaurants was good with high quality and beautiful foods though not cheap. Did not do dinner at the Coral Village restaurant as it was a buffet and too expensive for a buffet with the kids. Location of the resort away from the other hotels(Get around on shuttle buses) was ideal for us, felt remote and exclusive. Would definitely recommend.

“Paradise on Earth”

Literally paradise on earth. The location, the couple of pristine beaches nearby, the excellence staff, the food, the garden space to do your yoga exercises or for kids to play in, the excellent apartments, everything in our stay was 10/10. We couldn’t have asked for a better resort to spend our honeymoon at and Moana (I believe she is the main manager) is one of the kindest souls we have ever had a pleasure to meet, so thoughtful from day one and attentive to all of our needs, she made our stay that more extra special. We definitely recommend this destination for anyone looking for paradise.

“Beautiful Resort Experience”

I had a wonderful stay at this resort in Miyakojima. The morning buffet was consistently delicious, with an impressive range of local dishes alongside Western and Asian options. The white sand beach is stunning and literally just steps from reception. Perfect for an easy swim or sunset walk. The staff were impeccable, considerate, thorough, and genuinely attentive throughout my stay. The villa was beautiful, superbly furnished, and felt thoughtfully designed for comfort. Amenities were plentiful and readily available, which made everything feel effortless. The location is also ideal if you’re after a proper island getaway. Quiet, scenic, and relaxing. Highly recommend.

In our home country when your room gets cleaned it gets CLEANED and BEDS GET MADE. We had to specifically ask for this to be done, whereas it should come as a standard service. We wanted to hire canoes / kayaks and we were turned away at every facility we asked for canoe hire. So do not go there expecting to be able to hire canoes. Take swimmers ear drops with you.

The resort is fantastic, featuring beautiful bungalows and a wide range of activities spread across its expansive grounds. I highly recommend renting a car during your stay (for foreigners: note that an international driving permit with a Japanese translation is required). The resort’s concept, with its many dining options, is very well thought out. However, the only downside is the need for early reservations, as many restaurants are fully booked days in advance. This leaves little room for spontaneity, which is quite unfortunate. A very special thank you to Moana-san, who took excellent care of us in English and made the impossible possible. I truly appreciate her outstanding service and hope to see her again on my next visit. TOP service—thank you once again!

Breakfast buffet was a highlight. The trails around the property were awesome.

Breakfast was filling and a decent variety. Small changes from day to day. Overall a good breakfast. Rooms were clean and the jacuzzi was something I didn't think we would use much in the summer but it got a lot of attention. Staff were attentive and helpful.

“Good place for big families / groups :-)”

Absolute highlight were two of the staff members: “Moana” and Mohammad (sorry, probably wrong spelling). Both were extremely helpful and had a very high feeling for service. The villas are quite spacious for Japanese standards and we could comfortably stay with 4 adults and 1 baby. The breakfast buffet was generous and had options for Japanese as well as Western taste. The evening program in the Okinawan food court was very interesting and fun to join. The hotel has a small beach at the coral reefs which is great for snorkeling! I highly recommend to book a rental car. The service from the resort is reasonable and very convenient to book and use. A rental car is necessary on Miyakojima in order to visit all the beautiful sights.

The hotel is located close to beautiful sea and the hotel is surrounded by rich nature. The hotel staff were very kind and smiled all the time. We really had a wonderful time.

We spent one week of our honeymoon at the resort. Moana and the whole staff were absolutely faboulus. They took care of everything, took reservations and made our stay the most perfect. The villas are simply superb and so are the breakfast, the restaurants, the beach and the whole area. We'd like to thank the staff again and would absolutely recommend it to everyone. Simply fantastic.

“Excellent and momorable stay in the nature!”

The cottage-type facility surrounded by nature is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast and access to a beach is very good. All the staff including the room cleaning staff were very friendly and willing to welcome guests. As the facility is out of the city center, the night sky is very attractive. If lay-back chairs or hammocks can be arranged in the garden, people can spend time star-gazing. If you are coming for a quiet, relaxing vacation with amazing views of the ocean, you will get it here.

Old villa very dark inside. need to turn light on all the day. Window in veranda have no curtain. be happy to wake up at 5:30 this village is for family with young kids. Restaurant very noisy and quality is very poor. one exception : the beef Breakfast products are not fresh rancid croissant! Swimming pool is not clean : many sand with green moisture …. amazing for such price Service is far from professionnal. our luggage have been brought to the room under a strong rain: then need 2 days to dry shoes and many clothes no commercial proposal only apologies It is far away our expectations we don’t recommend this hotel
