“Perfect villa for a quiet and nice stay”

It's really an amazing villa! Beautiful, quiet, and spacious. It has everything you need and there is even a hot bath with a cherry blossom tree outside! The food and drinks are all for free (so many of them!) The breakfast is also wonderful! And the staff are all nice :)

Villa Hamorebi is a corner of paradise on an island that is already a paradise in itself! Right from the welcome, you can tell that the attention to the guest is top-notch. Very friendly and helpful staff. The house is very spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with many comforts. And what can I say about the private onsen 😍?! Simply magical. They even left a complimentary ice cream for me. At night, you are completely immersed in the silence of the island and its nature. I had a fabulous breakfast, specially prepared for my vegetarian needs. Thank you to the staff, I will always keep Villa Hamorebi and all of you in my heart!

The villa is spacious and clean. The onsen bath is a lovely way to end a day of hiking and the amenities provided are a nice touch. The Japanese breakfast was excellent too!

I first went to Miyajima in 2023 on a day trip, and I vowed then that the next time I went to the island, I would stay overnight. I picked this villa for 2 nights in 2025, and it was the perfect complement to what i'd say is the most beautiful place I have ever visited. I was shown around by the friendliest of hosts when I arrived. The beds were beyond comfy, the building felt both traditional and modern at the same time. And to be able to hike Mount Misen in the day, to come back to an outdoor bath in the evening was perfect. Not to mention being able to watch the sunset behind the Itsukushima Torii when all the tourists have gone home. I am definitely staying here again in the future.

We were greeted and shown around by a lovely lady, and a deer welcomed us by the front door. The place was very cozy and clean. After climbing Mt. Misen, it was wonderful to relax in the outdoor bath.

A large villa in a quiet location only a few minutes away from the main shopping street. It is big enough for a family with good amenities. We were hosted by a lovely and witty lady who made us laugh. They provided plenty of tea, coffee, soft drinks, alcohol and snacks for free. Dunking in an outdoor onsen was a bonus at the end of the day.

The private villa is situated in a peaceful spot just outside the main tourist pull of Miyajima. The building has been very well renovated and brought up to modern standards all within traditional Japanese design and architecture. The interior of the home is well distributed, bright and fresh. The layout has been well considered and there is a large amount of space inside. The bathroom and external plunge pool were a life saver during the extremely hot (37 deg c) August when visiting. The plunge pool is located in a small, well lit, private enclosure with views of the large Acer trees above. The villa has a bar, a stocked fridge of drinks, ice and various teas and coffees.

The breakfast and dinner were very delicious and the host team was very kind.

It was a very spacious and splendidly furnished vacation home. There was nothing else I could have wished for. They even provided free drinks in the apartment. In fact it was much more than what I needed, but when I booked, there were not so many options left. Also, it did not exactly fall into the cheap category, but it also offers a very high quality stay on a very beautiful island.

Lovely place to stay, very quiet and relaxing. The food was also amazing, and the staff were very friendly.
