We were recommended this place by a friend and we're so glad we went, it was our favourite stay in Japan! Amazing hospitality and the Japanese breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you Mizuhasou!

“A perfect stay…”

Loved our stay here - great location just 5 min walk to the Tori gate. The shower was exceptional! We enjoyed the baths and while experience.

We loved everything about our 2 nights stay here. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shared bathroom with the onsen was a delight, even though it was shared we had complete privacy as it was lockable. The included breakfast was amazing, choice between a japanese and western breakfast, we tried both and they were both a delightful experience with the staff being extremely attentive and friendly. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the ferry, just out of the way from the hustle but still very close to everything. If I could rate this higher than a 10 I would!

“Very comfortable stay in a very unique place”

Excellent stay in a very comfortable room. The room as really large and well appointed. The bed was the most comfortable that I have experienced in Japan. The breakfast was also the best that I have had in Japan, the amount of yummy dishes kept me going will into the day. The baths were exceptionally nice and really great. I will definitely want to stay here again.

Just on the edge of town, away from the crowds, but only 5mins walk to the main temple. Very friendly greeting. Room delightful, as was the bathing room. Breakfast was excellent (we had the english). Juice, cereal and yogurt, ham and egg cooked on a little stove at the table, salad, sausage/shrimp/sweetcorn/chip combo, sweetcorn soup, toast with butter and jam.

“Wonderful structure at a fair price”

We really enjoyed this hotel! It has a good position in a quieter area of Miyajima, near to every attraction you can reach easily on foot. The staff was amazing, very kind and helpful. The room was big, the beds were very comfortable and there were such good amenities. We also had a wonderful traditional Japanese breakfast that was tasteful and satisfying.

“Worth staying for the breakfast!”

We had a lovely stay! Tucked away at a quieter end of Miyajima, which was perfect for us, although we were glad we’d left our big bags at Hiroshima station and just brought backpacks for the walk. Lovely bathing facilities and a truly incredible breakfast.

“Classic ryokan”

Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. Breakfast was unbelievably good. We ordered the Japanese style breakfast and there were so many different treats we could barely finish it. The bath is beautiful too. There's a wonderful, satisfying slosh as you sit into the steaming hot bath.

“Spoil yourself and stay the night here... go for a walk after dinner to the Toti gate that's special”

Everything... the food 🍱 👍the Japan style room with a super comfortable futon bed had space for 3 and the very friendly and helpful staff even surprised me with a special birthday cake ... very sweet of them... better take a taxi from ferry which is a great little tour through the old part of town for orientation ...nice walk through park to ropeway... all highly recommended 👍

“A peaceful haven”

Beautiful location away from the crowds. The room was very comfortable and the Onsen was great. The Japanese breakfast was amazing.

It was a great stay! The staff was kind and patiently pointed out to all the amenities like the bath, breakfast choice (western or japanese) or that they offer us pajamas and slippers. The bath was definetely a highlight of our stay and a surprise as we weren't expecting it. Futons were comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We have zero complains and would love to come back.

Lovely minshuku in a quiet part of the island near the Tori gate. Amazing breakfast and very helpful staff. Our rooms were ensuite and we could also use the public bath facilities. Need to use taxis if you are carrying moderate to heavy luggage.

Great location near the main sites of Miyajima, clean and cosy, great service. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent and so generous with the courses! The dinner alone felt worth the cost of staying!

“Perfection!”

The property was lovely, quiet but not too far from everywhere you could possibly want to go! We were both so happy with the dinner and breakfast! Staff very kind and polite - arigato gozaimasu ! :)

“Everything was great!”

Close to the famous Torii. Attentive staff. Great breakfast. Saw we were leaving without an umbrella into the rain, and gave us one of theirs as a gift which was super thoughtful. Can't fault it, we'd defo recommend.

The structure is very welcoming, clean and with all the needed comforts. The breakfast was extremely delicious: we tried the Japanese breakfast and we got plenty of small dishes. The quality of the food was high, and the staff was extremely nice. It was an amazing experience!

Japanese hotel complete with futons and a bath. They served excellent food. The staff spoke very limited English but were very welcoming and kind.
