“A homely and relaxed stay which has the feel of a community guest house. We will be back!”

The staff were super friendly and attentive to myself and 2 young children. We were kindly shown around the property and to our room with everything explained clearly. We were also given advice on things to see and do on the island and what restaurants were available. The dinner was self serve and delicious - the pictures don't do it justice! A simple selection of bread/toast, cereals with dairy and soy milks were also available for breakfast from 5:30am should you wish to set off on a hike early morning. The views from our room...just stunning!

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff and the facilities were very clean. The breakfast and dinner were also excellent. Location is very close to the temple and to the ropeway.

A great place if you’re looking for the hostel/back packer vibe. The location was good for the shrine as well as accessing the Ropeway and walking in the hills.

Very relaxing place. We had a private room that felt like modern Ryokan. Private traditional onsen bath! Good dinner and breakfast.

Nice place to stay - nothing fancy but good communal area, clean basic rooms, good dinner (vegan curry and miso soup) and simple breakfast. Good value given that it includes food.

Cosy traditional house. Perfect location. Very friendly personal. The owner helped us to solve the problem with the air conditioning.

A real treat for our family as we adventure around Japan. Particularly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, private garden, calligraphy, library & the guitar. Wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Greate exprience. We had everything we needed. Easy access, helpful frontdesk. Bus stop 100m away. Sleeping on futons 🙂. Good coffee. Very clean.

Amazing place, great dinner which was included.

One of my favourite places I stayed at in Japan. The dorm room was warm and comfortable and very spacious. The other guests were friendly and quiet. The whole place was very cosy and clean and it felt homely, which I really liked. Also, the curry they make for dinner was SO delicious! And the breakfast was really good too. Also, the staff were really nice, and the location was convenient. I would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely stay here again when I return to Miyajima! I want to try using their private onsen next time! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

“Really beautiful space, hostel like envioronment, traditional and welcoming”

Authentic Japanese hospitality experience. Lovely view from the room. Very peaceful experience. More located up in the mountain with a lovely garden. The food was basic but decent, we had potato curry and rice with soup for dinner and cereals and toast for breakfast, unfortunately there was no hob for us to boil eggs for a more substantial breakfast. The staff were lovely.
