Overview
A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath, 3 restaurants and karaoke. “A lovely stay in Miyajima”
We stayed in the Japanese style room with mountain view. It was a lovely place to stay, conveniently located, the facilities were excellent and the staff were so helpful and kind. There is also a free shuttle bus to bring you to the ferry terminal when you leave too. We really enjoyed our stay and we appreciated the efforts that the staff went to in making us feel welcome!

“Absolutely Amazing!”
Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, delicious and filling. Our server was very friendly and explained all of the dishes and how best to eat them. The garden view of the fish pond was beautiful at night as well as in the morning. Our room was spacious, well equipped, with comfortable beds and a huge bathroom by Japanese standards. Toiletries were good quality and the yukata a nice touch.

Great location close to the Miyajima Torii gate and only a short walk to the ferry terminal. The room was wonderfully decorated in Japanese style and very spacious. A very pleasant place.

“Mixed experience”

“Loved the public bath”
Location on the island was good, close to everything. The shuttle was great for carrying heavy bags from the ferry. Loved the public bath house! Free coffee in the lounge area but not until 7am...and no coffee in the room, so if you're like me and want one at 5.30am, take your own...(there's a kettle).

“Great hotel will great staff very close to shrine.”

Beautiful room with massive windows overlooking mountains & Japanese garden. Staff are amazing & very personal which made the experience special. Enjoyed the Japanese dinner & breakfast. We only spent one night but would recommend minimum of two to relax & enjoy this beautiful island.

“Peaceful stay in Miyajima”
We got a beautiful room with a great view of the mountains and the Tori Gate, we were lucky because got the room with a balcony, from what we saw there were not other rooms with balcony so this was a plus, the hotel and surroundings are super quiet, the hotel is beautiful and feels traditional, the japanese garden is gorgeous, bed was comfortable, the tatami area in our room was so nice!.
