I can highly recommend the Ferienhaus Abendfrieden for a family stay. The accommodation provides everything needed for a self sufficient stay, the location is fabulous and the host is very friendly and helpful.

Location is great. Hiking trails start at the same street, Rewe supermarket is nearby. Very quiet place 5 minites by foot from the old town.
