The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a nice outdoor table and an oven. It is quite remote and the nature around the house is beautiful.

Quiet, relaxing place to stay in the middle of nature, yet really easy to get there. The host is friendly and everything is very clean. It's a great place to rest and also to meet other travellers. I strongly recommend you to stay there.

The hostel was very cosy, 15min walk from groceries shop and restaurants. If like us you don’t have a car I suggest you to send a message so they can organize your way from Bajina Basta! We very enjoyed staying there in the middle of the nature and doing the hikes nearby.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, letting us check in early and fetching first aid supplies. The location is stunning, and the facilities and rooms are clean and comfortable. Bonus points for two adorable dogs!

Great location right in the middle of the national park. I didn’t have a car but was able to arrange the hostel worker to drop me off from the town hostel into the park for 1500 one way and he also was able to pick me up the day I left which worked out cheaper than a taxi at 2000. As I didn’t have a car this place was ideal only 10-15 min walk to small town centre if you need any groceries. I brought my own from bajina basta before I arrived. The house has kitchen and small stove top which was good for cooking. The house was very cosy and really nice being in the park I wish I stayed a few days longer as I stayed 3 nights. The owners son runs this hostel and his very helpful and English is very good which I have had struggles with in other places through Serbia. He was very kind and able to help with any questions.

“Peaceful with amazing views, and the comfiest bed”

The location was great for hiking and so peaceful! Very close to some amazing views. The hostel's wifi is very good and I would love to go back when I have some online work especially as outside there is a sheltered area which the wifi reaches perfectly.

I stayed at both the hostels that mystic river had . My my!! what a wonderful bunch of people that they have. the staff at mystic river hostel was absolutely terrific. guided us throughout our journey. this hostel had all the facilities and it’s right in between the lake ziovine and bajilas stena.. it’s like since it’s just in the middle travel was made more easy. gorgeous place on top of that.

A nice authentic hut in the woods 20min walk from village of mitrovac. Had balcony can great views. Can hike straight from here and local village has a few good food options. Also has kitchen

location is suberb. the rooms are very cozy and the whole hostel was exceptionally clean. the hostess was very helpful and welcoming. They also offered complimentary coffee and tea. wonderful area, the view from the room was amazing!
