“Great Getaway for Summer or a Weekend Winter Retreat”
From my vast experience staying in guest houses, nothing I write is personal; it’s based purely on my observations. I had the place to myself, meaning no other guests, though the family was downstairs, which didn’t bother me at all. In fact, it gave the place a more homely feel. The room and its design were good. The kitchen was spacious enough, as was the bedroom, offering a comfortable environment for my stay. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pots and pans, although some were not as clean as I’d expect. While this isn’t strictly the host’s fault, a quick check between guests would ensure everything is in order. The pan lids, for anyone needing them, are on the left side of the cupboard above the sink. Towels were supplied and regularly exchanged, which was a nice touch. I must mention that they have the most adorable dog, which added a warm, welcoming feel to the place. The host’s son and daughter were very polite and spoke English fluently, which made communication much easier. The family is clearly kind-hearted, and with just a few adjustments, this guest house has the potential to be a great spot for travellers. Despite some minor issues, I did enjoy parts of my stay. The homemade mushroom soup I was offered was delicious and highly recommended. The atmosphere overall was peaceful, and with a bit more attention to small details like heating, water pressure and WIFI it would be a truly excellent experience.

Everything! The flat was well decorated and spacious! You have everything you need! The house owner is very nice and speak English!
