We stayed at Wine Tree House as a family with 2 small kids. The stay was very pleasant and Mahesh was the best host who really took care of us, he was very helpful and made the best breakfast in whole Sri Lanka. This place was definitely a great choice and the best value for money. Thank you

“Beautiful Guesthouse and lovely owner”
We came back to Maheshs beautiful place after 2 years and regret that we had no time to stay even longer. Mahesh created a small paradise: watching chipmonks, peacocks, colourful birds from the terrace while drinking a cup of tea is so relaxing! You can even have snorkelliing masks for free or use his own bicycle for short trips. Delicious breakfast and dinner you can order here. Mahesh helps in all things, is a wonderful attentive host and a lovely person. Thank you so much for this beautiful time.

“Felling like at home.”
The charming room felt like being at home not in a sterile hotel. A quiet garden in front , watching birds and squirrels it was very relaxing. You can ask the kindhearted owner even to cook for a delicious dinner.

“Beautiful hidden gem with the best host you can wish for”
I had an amazing stay, Mahesh is the best host you can wish for and will make sure your stay is unforgettable. When I had sunburn, he got some fresh aloe vera from the garden I could use. Its an hidden gem with a lovely garden, different birds, squirrels and other small wildlife is passing by while I enjoyed breakfast or drink. Located behind the main-street, so no sounds of busses and other traffic. All the places are in walking distance, but I used the bicycle (for free). There is even snorkeling gear u can use for free. The room is just perfect, super clean, comfortable and a good bed. And all the small details are so lovely. I booked for 2 nights and stayed 8 :). It felt like home and can recommended everyone to stay here.

Homelike atmosphere. The host was very service minded, he helped with transport, ozr snorkeling or whale watching trip. He was very generous and caring- always wanted to kniif everything is okay and he wanted to fulfill our wishes. The garden was full of animals which were entertaining us during our breakfast but still very peaceful. I would for sure recomand this place!
