Absolutely amazing room. The hotel is brand new and you can see that. The AC works very well. By far the best accommodation we’ve had on our Sri Lanka trip. The breakfast was delicious and more food than anyone could ever eat. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Mirissa.

We loved everything about our stay! Anu is a great host, very friendly and welcoming, spotlessly clean, good communication, lovely rooms and showers, great air conditioning. There’s nothing not to love about this place! The location is fab, tucked away only a 5 minute walk from the Main Street making it nice and quiet too. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

I was incredibly pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel, specifically for the following reasons: 1. The breakfast was a true culinary journey. Every morning, the hostess and her assistant prepared a fantastic traditional Sri Lankan breakfast for us. It was different every single day, one day we had string hoppers, the next it was curd, and always plenty of fresh fruit. It turned my holiday into a culinary adventure. 2. The hostesses were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took great care of us and solved any minor issues immediately. For instance, we forgot our soap and shampoo, which they replenished right away, and a leak was fixed by a professional instantly. 3. The location was perfect. The hotel is situated just outside the busy tourist center, yet the beach and the main street are still within easy walking distance. The peace and quiet of the location was very important to me. Additionally, there are some top-tier restaurants nearby that I believe are among the best in Mirissa.

The stay offered a truly homely atmosphere. Mrs. Anu, the caretaker, was very attentive and supportive throughout. Communication on all check-in and check-out matters was excellent. The room was spacious and neat. Highly recommended.

The localisation is great! Walking distance to the beach, shops, fruits, restaurants - the simplier the better. Tuk Tuk everywhere 😀 and moving bakery 😀 WiFi on an extraordinary level! Super clean! Super nice! But what is the most important - the host! This girl is fantastic!!! She was ever so helpful! Everything you need you can get there - plates, cutlery, umbrella. The host was around all the time, she is so kind! She even prepared our bfast for take away. And her breakfasts were amazing!!! Colourfull, fresh, tasty, home made! Magnificent! nice bathroom with a shower. And always fresh towels. There are balconies which you can use. The fridge. I highly recommend this stay! This place! you gonna love it!!

We absolutely loved the Welcome Inn, Marissa. Anu and her wonderful team made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is spacious and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for local restaurants, beaches and shops. The breakfasts were delicious, every day there was something different to tantalise your taste buds. All freshly cooked, plentiful and beautifully presented. This is excellent value for money and the warm, relaxed feel of Welcome Inn will make you want to stay.

“The perfect place to stay in Mirissa”

I had a lovely stay at the Welcome Inn in Mirissa. I really appreciated its quiet location, away from the hustle of the main drag ... but still just a 10-minute walk to shops and the beautiful beach. The staff were nothing but smiles led by the very friendly Anu. My room was large and cool and quiet and the balcony area was a great place to chill. Finally, the breakfast was bountiful.

The room was comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was amazing with delicious fruits. And the staff were very kind and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

“WE LOVED IT!”

We loved this place so much that we extended two more days. It’s very clean, can walk to nice restaurants, helped rent us scooter, did our laundry. Run by lovely family. We can’t recommend more! Perfect for exploring coast tucked away from the madness. Can watch monkeys from balcony.

I had a really wonderful stay here. Anu, the host, is incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely sweet. The breakfast is amazing — very rich, generous, and delicious. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely comfortable and safe. I stayed in the single room, and it had everything I needed, including a mosquito net. The building is new, the furniture is modern, and the rooms are extremely clean. The location is great — about a 10-minute walk to the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants, yet far enough from the crowds and noise to feel peaceful. I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
