The location is very good, very close to the beach. The beds were comfortable, wifi stable, hot water, air conditioners working properly.

Lovely family run apartment close to all amenities. The family even made us a traditional Sri Lankan meal one evening. Great Vegan restaurant called The Slow directly opposite too. Can't recommend enough.

It's an amazing experience. Specially the family are really welcoming and friendly. My kids enjoyed a lot. They can cook nice meals and we eat very fresh. They are very affectionate towards us.

Great family taking care of us, a lot of space and calm place to stay close to everything.

The family were absolutely wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The home cooked food was delicious and we had so much for breakfast we saved some for lunch. If you love birds, the veranda is perfect for sitting with binoculars spotting incredible birds. We saw a Ruddy mongoose, monkeys and little squirrels whilst eating breakfast. The apartment is fairly eccentric and basic. One of the bedrooms is very damp as it's built against a large hill. The windows don't open so it's impossible to air. We were friends wanting a bedroom each, but ended up sharing one room due to the damp. Just something to be aware of. The location was perfect as it seems really remote and quiet, yet the town and beach are a stone's throw away!

“Fantastic, quiet place with a great family.”

The villa was fantastic, clean and quiet, away from the tourist noise and busyness. Just a short 3 min walk to Turtle Beach on a flat lane (no car access but you can get there by tuktuk), and a couple extra minutes to main Mirissa Beach. Everything you need including a fridge, and comfortable beds. The family lives upstairs, and they were so wonderful and helpful. Cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner for free (one of the best we had in Sri Lanka!!), went out of their way for us including helping with our sick daughter and taking us to the bus stop. Recommend paying a bit extra for breakfast, much nicer and cheaper than anything you can find in the restaurants. We left as friends and would love to go back again.

Thank you! Hosts are really hospitable and friendly. They kept in touch every time when I needed it, organize transfer to airport, cooked delicious welcome dishes every day for free The location is comfortable, there are a few minutes to the beach and modern restaurants. You may see monkeys and peacocks there, it is quite atmospheric.

“Lovely villa, lovely host family”

Host family were lovely, accommodating and friendly. A cute squirrel/chipmunk came to greet us when we arrived 😄 at night, you can watch the fireflies dance in the trees. Make sure you don't disturb the grumpy toad who comes to visit the bathroom in the night 🤗 the villa was clean, the beds were massive and comfy with intact mosquito nets and ceiling fans.

“Number one stay in Sri Lanka”

An exceptional stay in our 17 days trip in Sri Lanka. The family makes us feel as part of their family. Always happy to see each other during the day. Always there for us. It was very hard to leave and continue in our journey but if we ever come back to Sri Lanka in the future, we will definitely come to stay with them again. One night they organised a fantastic bbq with fresh tuna fish, salads, rice, chutney, curry.. it was an amazing experience which something we will never forget.

The owners were really nice and helpful, everything was clean , the place was big ,great location 2 mins walk to main road , 3 mins walk to turtle beach, 5 min walk to Mirissa beach , we saw monkeys ,frogs , lizards and squirrels outside the villa.

Extremely kind hosts, place was great, it’s a very good deal for the area if travelling on a budget. Owners were very nice and hospitable, place is very quiet.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts are very friendly and made sure we felt like home. The house is shielded from the sun so the temperature inside is perfect during the day.

Very good place. With a view to the wild and not far from the ocean. Very spacious and everything we needed was provided by wonderful hosts. Near the main road but quite enough to spend some time away from noise.

The most beautiful clean & new property. The family are so sweet & lovely. They brought us coffee, tea & the most delicious Sri Lankan treats! The rooms are spacious, a kitchen with a big fridge and gas cooker. Fans work great (important in Sri Lankan heat) & big mosquito nets to keep them out. Location is off the main road set back in the jungle. Very calm and quiet but close to the beach & restaurants. The nicest & best value for money accommodation I have stayed in during my month so far in Sri Lankan. Cannot recommend staying here enough! Big love to the wonderful hosts ❤️❤️❤️ We will definitely be back!

We stayed two weeks in this incredible villa. His localisation is perfect : the Mirissa beach is 3 minutes walk away (Spot to surf, to swim and restaurants) and we are, at the same time, in "the jungle" (possibility of seeing monkeys, birds, squirrels from the terrace). The accommodation is spacious, new and clean. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom (with hot watter) and a kitchen with the possibility of cooking with gas. There is the possibility of parking a scooter. The owners of the accommodation are very generous, available and welcoming. I recommend, without hesitation
