We really enjoyed our stay as the host was v kind & helpful! He woke at 2am to make sure our airport taxi will turn up. Also the breakfast & snacks were delicious!

Absolutly amazing, best stay in sri lanka. It was clean, nice and owners are extremly nice. The even bring free snacks once a day something like pancake and fruits. Also the breakfast was the best from all our stays. Very close to the beach. 100/10

“not what we expected”

I don't know where all the positive reviews are coming from, but we opened and closed the door. It's too basic and old, and doesn't have the expected view from the room. We did give the owner a tip because we found it annoying and they're not exactly luxury cats, but this doesn't really match the impression they give.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, which made everything very convenient and relaxing. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with care. The host was always smiling and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The hospitality truly made us feel at home. Overall, you get excellent value for the price, and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Extremely good value for money. The room is very clean and relatively spacious, furnished simply. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. I asked if they could make me Sri Lankan rice & curry, it was so beautiful and only 1,200 rupees

“Best value for money you can get”

This place is amazing value for the money. You get a nice room with AC within 5 minutes of the main Mirissa Beach. The host is the kindest person I've met in this country. She also brought us random snacks throughout the day (fruits, iced coffee, pancakes). The breakfast was also very good, with a choice of Sri Lankan or Western food. We can confirm both rooms now have AC, unlike what was written previously.

Spacious comfortable rooms with great AC. Location is just off the main road which was brilliant. The owners made this place special though. We were asked if we want western breakfast which was a nice change for us, and the breakfasts were amazing. They also came with more pancakes and fruit during each day we were there. They couldn't have done more as hosts, would definitely recommend this place. They even give us a free cold bottle of water when leaving. So kind and generous. 10/10.

Great location, very helpful host, comfortable beds with A/C

The hosts are very kind; they brought me pancakes and tea in the evening when it started raining! The room is clean, and the breakfast is delicious (and very generous). The location is great too, right in front of the beach (2 min walk). Thank you for everything!

Hosts were so kind and generous. Welcomed us with iced coffees and pancakes and provided us with a very large breakfast. It is great value for money.

Everything was more than perfect! Do NOT hesitate to book this place! We did not want to leave!

The hosts are really sweet — they gave me lots of treats and were very helpful. The room also has a table and a rack to hang some clothes. The air conditioning works well too.

“Exceptional Stay with Warm Hospitality and Local Touches”

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location was perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful views all around. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, exactly what I needed for a pleasant stay. What truly made the difference was the staff. They were exceptionally kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a delicious coffee smoothie, and throughout our stay they often brought us local homemade dishes to try — such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel genuinely cared for. Every day they went above and beyond, checking if we were comfortable and helping us with anything we asked for, from local recommendations to small personal requests. The breakfast was also outstanding — fresh, generous, and full of local flavors. Overall, it was a wonderful experience thanks to the combination of comfort, great food, and the incredible hospitality of the team. I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

One of my favorite accomodations in Sri Lanka. Really sweet Hosts, so helpful, friendly and kind. Great location (in the middle of everything, so you can walk everywhere + busstop only about 2‘ away) amazing breakfast with choice of western or sri lankan style.
