Every single member of staff made us feel right at home, always smiling, so personable, attentive, and polite beyond words. You can truly tell they love what they do, and they constantly went above and beyond, even in the smallest ways. A special mention to Suresh, the General Manager, who has clearly built an exceptional team. His passion, warmth, and happiness shine through every member of staff and every experience at the hotel. We absolutely loved being shown around Galle and receiving thoughtful recommendations on where to go and what to see, it made our trip feel so personal and memorable. The bedrooms were pure bliss. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves each night was unforgettable, and the special BBQ dinner on the beach was one of the highlights of our stay. Everything about this place made us feel so cared for and special. It will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we already cannot wait to come back.

We stayed 4 nights and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, including the manager, made us feel genuinely cared for in a way that’s rare to find. We were like home. One of the highlights of our stay was dinner under the stars. It was the kind of evening you wish you could pause. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was another standout, fresh, flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, offering a perfect taste of local cuisine. Every detail, from service to ambiance, was handled with care and authenticity. If you’re looking for a boutique stay that combines charm, comfort and exceptional hospitality, this place is truly something special.

An idyllic experience. A beautiful property with staff who literally couldn’t do enough for us, from enabling us to release baby turtles, to a beautiful dinner on the beach to constantly thinking of every little thing - go here you will love it!

Service was impeccable, Suresh made sure our stay was comfortable in every way, and always emphasised that the villa was our home, not a hotel. They arranged a special dinner by the beach for us, on the house. Every meal was delicious, the oatmeal was our favourite!!

“Best Hotel in Sri Lanka - Exceptional”

This place honestly exceeded all my expectations. The property itself is a beautiful modern villa that feels incredibly well thought through. Everything was spotless. The design is very modern but still warm and inviting, and the view is just stunning. The pool is absolutely dreamy and the whole setting makes it so easy to just switch off and relax. It is very intimate and quite, as the property only has four rooms, which enables them to be as attentive as they are! The location is also perfect. It is super quite and peaceful, but at the same time you can reach Mirissa in about five to ten minutes. The beach right in front of the villa is something special. The waves are honestly some of the most picturesque I have ever seen, it almost does not feel real. Our room was just as impressive. Again, everything was perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the balcony view looked like a postcard. The bathroom had both a great shower and a bathtub, and they even prepared a bath for me with flowers which smelled amazing and felt incredibly thoughtful. The food was exceptionally good. Everything we had was delicious, and they were even flexible enough to prepare dishes that were not on the menu, including local Sri Lankan food, and were also very flexible with the timing of the food, which we appreciated very much, especially for the breakfast since we like to sleep in during the holiday! The breakfast is also amazing, you have to try their Pineapples Waffle! We were also brought fresh coconuts during the day, which was such a nice touch. But what really took everything to the next level was the service. It was truly exceptional. The team was very attentive without ever being intrusive. They seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked and made everything feel effortless. When my husband had his birthday, they organized a cake for us, and they even set up torches so we could celebrate properly into the evening.

Three Gables is an absolute must-stay. From the moment we arrived, the service and warmth of the staff were truly phenomenal. The entire property, both inside and out, is beautifully designed and feels like a genuine home away from home. Suresh and the whole team went above and beyond to make us feel incredibly welcome, turning our stay into something truly special and unforgettable. The beachfront location offers a wonderfully private and serene atmosphere. It’s easily one of the most beautiful spots we’ve ever visited. On our final night, we enjoyed a magical dinner right by the sea, watching a stunning sunset while the waves gently lapped the shore. The red mullet was outstanding. From the talented chef to every member of the staff, the attention to detail was exceptional. The value for money is excellent it genuinely feels like you have the whole beautiful property to yourselves, with a carefully curated menu full of fantastic choices. We can’t recommend Three Gables highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

It is an absolutely stunning, beautifully kept villa. Huge thank you to the staff, manager and chef for making us feel so welcomed and looked after - and the Sri Lankan food we had was the best we had in our whole 3 weeks! We will be back! Cannot recommend enough.

If you are reading this, you must book! Suresh is a well experienced hotel manager who has now turned to providing great service to all of his guests. He also has several younger people who are in training to become just as good as he is, which is nice to see. Nothing is too much for the staff at the property if they can accommodate for you, they will. As you will know this property has a premium price tag, however it is 100% worth it. Book for a few nights and treat yourself. It’s extremely private and is immaculately clean, even dinner on the beach was provided! All in all 10/10 - no improvement would be possible for this place. The last thing I have to say, I hope Suresh and his team are paid well, because they definitely deserve it!

“One of the greatest places we have ever stayed”

Amazing… the lounge was to die for, opening to an infinity pool and further to a glorious beach. Room was very comfortable, finished to top European standard, there are only 4 rooms there so it is blissfully quiet. Staff could not do enough to make our stay best possible, nothing was too much hassle for them. Best stay we had in Sri Lanka.

An incredible villa right on the beach- the interior design, the pool, private beach and staff were exceptional. . We had the most luxurious stay! Suresh and his team were incredible and so attentive. The room was immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable- they also ensured they cleaned it twice a day for us (morning and just before bed!). The breakfast was delicious and we also ate dinner at the hotel on one of the night’s (a candle lit meal on the beach) - our best meal so far in Sri Lanka. Would highly recommend!
