“Convenient and comfortable room”

The location is very central and convenient and yet there is no noise. The room is spacious and comfortable. We were given delicious Sri Lanka string hoppers for breakfast. Good and functioning AC.

It's a lovely place to live, with everything within walking distance. The hosts are welcoming and attentive. I liked it so much that I decided to extend my stay for a few more days

Everything is very clean and tidy, the hosts are really helpful, warm, 100% recommend staying, absolutely worth the money, great location, close to the beach, shops, pharmacy, public transport :) I felt taken care of and welcomed like at home. :)

Great location and wifi was good. I could work from there but there's also some co-working places close by in Mirissa. The hosts was super helpful, we had a problem with a scooter and they made a big effort to help us getting it solved. This is also one of the few places in this day and age of heavy photo manipulation, where reality was better than the photos. Cleanliness and management of the rooms were impeccable.

It is just a perfect place! Great location, very clean and cozy, super nice hosts who can help you with any request you have. We also ordered breakfast once, and regretted that we didn’t have it earlier — big plates, everything is fresh, totally costs its price. Highly recommend!

Lovely family! I felt well taken care of, everyone was so sweet! The breakfast was also really good and big. It’s close to Mirissa beach and the main street with supermarket and shops. Would recommend!

During my stay in Sri Lanka I found most of the time you couldn’t rely on the reviews. I can confirm the reviews for this place are 100% accurate. The place was absolutely spotless, the sheets were smelling so fresh, the AC was nice and cool, there were no bugs and there was a place for you to hang your clothes. The lady I dealt with was also so lovely and made sure I was always comfortable. There is a reason this place has to be booked in advance.

“Four night stay”

The hotel is really lovely and has a comfy bed and a hot shower with good pressure. It’s a short walk away from the beach and the nearby restaurants. I would happily stay here again! The owner is so kind and helpful! We had our laundry done at the hotel for a good price and it was returned to us the next day neatly folded and smelling lovely.

Very friendly and helpful owners - helped organize tours and scoorer hire. Were very attentive with all of our needs. Communication was great. We were upgraded with our room for free which was fantastic. The deluxe room was spacious, garden view from deck which we saw lots of monkeys. Mattress was firm but comfortable. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Great aircon. Quiet but central location.

Loved everything about Sakura Calm Rest. Breakfast was amazing- fresh fruit and juices followed by traditional Sri Lankan although westernised was available. Ishaka was the most friendly and helpful host ably assisted by Sureka- both always with a smile to greet you. Rooms were spacious and clean with a lovely little balcony where I would have a cup of tea and watch the monkeys in the morning. Perfect

Ended up at this place after an other place canceled my room last minute. The only downside was that I only got a room for one night. Great place, comfy bed and nice shower. One of the best places to be in Mirissa. Just a few minutes away from the b beach.

Everything!! It was the perfect accommodation, large room, lots of place to store and hang clothes, comfortable bed and pillows, amazing hosts (always smiling, offering guidance, very welcoming and nice), balcony (monkeys came a couple of times and visited :) ), common kitchen and fridge for guests, and super close (maybe 5 mins walk tops) to the main beach and main street of Mirissa yet very calm. Wifi worked pretty well. Great AC and even a fan. Honestly, I would say this was the best accommodation we had during our trip to Sri Lanka (we stayed in 5 other places throughout the island). We rented a scooter from them for a very decent price. We spent 6 nights there (they changed the towels for us and offered to clean the room halfway through our stay. For the great value you receive, I would even say that this is a very cheap accommodation. I highly recommend this place during your stay in Mirissa!
