Host Ishara was brilliant, very attentive and informative. The rooms were clean and had good running hot water. Close to the beach, walking distance from town. We used the roof top kitchen to make tea and coffee in the morning (we had our own teabags and coffee). Great stay 😀 oh and a really good fruit stall opposite, they do the best fruit bowls!

The place is located 5 minutes from the beach in a beautiful green courtyard. Hot water and towels are provided. The owner Ishara is pleasant and will help and advise you.

“Except hosts in a beautiful location - fabulous”
The location was brilliant for sea, shops and restaurants. All within walking distance. The owner let me check in early without a fuss. The room was big and clean with a large balcony that overlooked the garden and had sea views. The kitchen area and dining rooftop area was brilliant. It was a welcomed bonus to be able to cook breakfast and use the fridge to store drinks. The views from the rooftop were stunning. Coconut tree hill can be seen clearly. Very reasonably priced also! We had no problems parking the tuk tuk and they let me borrow an iron too!

Ishara was a great host - so friendly & welcoming. The room was lovely & spacious with a balcony - perfect for our family. The kitchen & dining area on the top floor was an added bonus as it gave us somewhere to have a relaxed breakfast together. Would recommend to other families wishing to stay near Mirissa but not right in the centre.

We had a wonderful stay at Peacock Wings Guesthouse. The place is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great spot to relax. The location is excellent – close to the beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops, all within easy walking distance. It’s peaceful yet perfectly placed to enjoy everything Mirissa has to offer. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, always ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. Great value for money and a genuinely pleasant experience. We would happily stay here again and strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Mirissa.

The room is really nice and the balcony is lovely with a great view over the ocean. The accomodation is really close to the beach, you just have to cross the road.

Location was on a busy road but easy to navigate/cross and get to small local beach and all that was needed. Host was great and responded fast, very friendly.

Delightful wee apartment setup across the road from the beach, short walks to the likes of the famous shady lane and no.1 Dewmini roti shop. Had aircon which after fan life was a welcome relief, great spot, no complaints.

Perfect place to connect with the exotic beaches of South Sri Lanka. Turtle beach, coconut tree heal, parrot rock are all walkable distances, as well as the restaurants, fruit stands, restaurants. The accommodation is clean by western standards. The rooftop kitchen and dining room has beautiful view and comes very handy. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I extended my stay 2 times. Thank you for the amazing service!

“Lovely place to spend a few days.”
Great quiet place to stay in Mirissa away from the bustle. The roof terrace provides fantastic views and space to do artwork. The communal kitchen facility is a bonus. Clean comfortable rooms with balcony are spacious and clean. Ishara is a great host.
