From the moment we arrived, the setting completely took our breath away. The villa sits against a stunning ocean backdrop, and waking up each morning to the soothing sound of waves felt surreal. It created an atmosphere of calm and serenity that’s hard to put into words. We had our own private pool, which was impeccably clean and perfectly safe—we found ourselves swimming in it every single day. Just beside it was a cozy sofa bed where I even spent time meditating in the mornings, accompanied by the sounds of the ocean and birds. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely majestic, and even in the night, you could see the clear night sky full of stars. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was customizable, with a wonderful spread of fresh fruits and traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Everything we had was delicious—truly a treat to start each day. What really elevated the experience, though, was the incredible hospitality. Tharanga was our go-to person on-site—always attentive, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Jill, who I communicated with prior to and after the stay, was wonderful—responsive, kind, and ensured all our queries were handled smoothly. The location itself was private and peaceful, yet convenient enough to enjoy the surroundings. It gave us the space to truly relax and enjoy quality time as a family. All in all, Nisala Villas exceeded every expectation. If you’re looking for a tranquil, luxurious, and unforgettable getaway, this is it. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Our vacation at Nisala Villas was simply unforgettable! The villa offers a spectacular location with breathtaking ocean views and spacious spaces that make it ideal for families or groups of friends: al fresco dinners with ocean views, movies in the cinema room overlooking the eastern pond, poolside chats on the large pillow-top bed from which to admire enchanting sunsets, and awakening in your room to ocean views and the sound of the waves. The beach is located just below the villa, accessible via a path with steps: once there, a corner of tropical paradise awaits. While swimming in the ocean is not recommended, the beauty of the place is breathtaking. Special thanks go to the staff led by Tharanga, always available and attentive to every detail, yet at the same time very discreet. They took care of arranging massages at the spa, tuk-tuk and airport shuttle transfers, and even delicious dinners prepared by the talented chef with fresh, quality ingredients. Breakfast is included in the price, featuring plenty of delicious tropical fruit. A stay that exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family – always friendly, warm-hearted, and attentive to every little detail. No wish was left unfulfilled – even our slightly crazy requests were met with smiles and open arms! Everything was so beautifully organized, and we truly felt cared for in every way. The breakfast was an absolute dream, and the meals prepared especially for us were delicious and full of love. The massages were deeply relaxing and a wonderful addition to our stay. It felt like every wish was read from our lips before we could even speak it. We leave with full hearts and unforgettable memories. With all our love – we’ll be back!

“Great property few house keeping to be corrected.”

Beautiful Villa, it’s not a luxury villa, but a good villa for a family getaway, it’s well maintained to the naked eye. Great views as you can see from the pics but mind you there is no beach or access to the water. Tharanga the house manager was excellent and attentive. The land block houses 6 villas, we had friends in another villa for a bucks night and we used this villa to keep our baby, nanny, maid (safely) and us parents to sleep at night.

Location and facilities. The swimming pool was good. The design of the villa is excellent. it is spacious and the Living room on the ground floor with a big Screened TV was a bonus. We enjoyed the thrilling T20 Cricket World Cup final match which India won. We had reason to celebrate and this place was an excellent place to be with family & friends.

Beautiful pool and lovely quiet beach setting and gorgeous views. Extremely suitable for a big group, being just 2 of us, was too big.
