A huge thank you to Ravindra for hosting us! We really enjoyed our stay, it was close to the main strip and yet still quiet and serene. Ravindra really takes the time to help you get settled in and helped us organise transport, recommended places to eat, and overall just made our stay comfortable and inviting. The property itself is beautiful, clean and has everything you need! I can’t wait to come back someday.

A little bit of tranquility, perched in the trees with birds, squirrels and monkeys. Small and compact but very comfortable. Ravindra and his family were exceptional hosts and will arrange anything you need. Highly recommended if you don't mind being away from the hub of everything and getting tuk tuks. Ravindra does hire out his own scooter for a nominal fee.

This is a very special place, a homemade treehouse built with love. You are surrounded by nature and animals. The family is very kind and helps you with everything you need. Thanks, Ravindra and family, for the amazing stay and hospitality.

Good location, Top of hill, middle of jungle feel. Really nice view of trees and can see birds. We saw monkeys on a nearby road while walking back one day around 5pm. Host was very polite and friendly. Allowed us to use the washing machine too. The fridge was very helpful to keep some food in. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Cinnamon View Lodge Mirissa This place is incredible. It’s a big kid’s treehouse in the sky! You wake up surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. It’s so peaceful and so welcoming. Would give 6 stars if I could. The deck space and folding table create a real vibe. Viraj and his wonderful wife Suharshi build this place during Covid. It’s not their only source of income, which makes a huge difference to the experience. They’re not milking you for money. They do it to meet people and for a little on the side. Viraj is a successful engineer/mechanic and designed the place himself. The added benefits being quality accommodation and great rates on tuktuk/moped rentals! Genuinely lovely people and a genuinely amazing place. You will remember this stay.

“Jungle paradise”

Oh, that was such a sensory paradise for introverts. I was so happy to find a place to hide in Mirissa. The home is absolutely lovely and thought through. Everything is new and has so many facilities, i even spotted a blender for smoothies. It feels like being in a jungle but with all the facilities. Dialog simcard had 43mbps. I will come again next months for my digital nomad work and yoga sessions. Also = hot shower!!! and fireflies with black monkeys outside

“Unique experience”

The place was super clean, with fresh bed sheets and towels, and the host hooked us up with a big water dispenser for free. It is located away in the jungle, right inside the host’s family home, and everyone was really friendly. The vibe was calm and chill. On top of that, the host also gave us extra towels for the beach.

“A unique and fun spot to spend a couple of nights.”

This really was a unique experience for us whilst we were in Sri Lanka. The property lies at the end of an elevated pathway that runs through the trees and leaves you, and the living area is slightly suspended in the forest. Your neighbours will be chipmunks and monkeys. The hosts were friendly and largely unobtrusive. The room has an attached toilet and shower and a kitchenette outside. Falling asleep whilst listening to the forest start to come alive was very memorable. Be aware that there is no breakfast or similar food provided, so you need to bring your own food or snacks. The walk to the main road takes about 10 minutes; from there, you can get a tuk-tuk into the beach towns just down the road.

Relaxed and free place. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well-equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was perfect. We had been to this resort just for 1 night and yes the experience was really amazing

Very cozy stay in the middle of a cinnamon forest. The host also rents out scooters so we could get to the beach easily (which is somewhat removed from the house).

I really liked this charming little all wooden tree house, which the owner built himself with attention to detail! It is in a very good condition and has everything you need. I loved being surrounded by the sound of the jungle and even got a visit from two monkeys. :) I'd love to come back sometime!

“Nature lovers, this is the place for you”

Absolutely amazing place set within nature. If you love wildlife and peace, this is the place for you. We spent 5 hours just wildlife spotting from the balcony! The hosts were very friendly. Place was very clean and comfortable. Good AC.

Great quiet cabin 5-10min away from Mirissa. Property is on a hill (road is bumpy so take it easy when you drive there) and the cabin is in the backyard of the owners' family house. It's completely private though, you're surrounded by trees, birds, frogs and monkeys. We stayed for two nights, one of which the owner drove us to town and back for dinner, which was was lovely and kind. Host family are lovely and we felt very welcome.
