The room is of big size, clean with a comfortable bed, nice terrace in the garden, tasty breakfasts, kitchen with all needed for cooking, and most importantly - pleasant communication. The location is WONDERFUL for rest after noisy touristic places and quite close to them at the same time.

Amazing family, so nice and made me feel at home! The room was very clean and comfortable with a cute hammock watching the plants in the garden. Very nice place in a quiet rural area, 10 minutes walking on a very beautiful road from the Main Street.

“The best place we have stayed”

This was our favourite place we stayed in the whole of Sri Lanka and the last place we stayed. I can’t thank Modisha and her husband enough for how well they looked after us! We felt so safe and like we could ask for anything, they always helped us with getting tuktuks and had bottled water for us. We had an amazing breakfast everyday which they baked fresh every morning and gorgeous fruit and coffee. We also got our laundry done which was folded ready for us the next day. Would come back here if I came back to Sri Lanka and recommend it 100% to anyone visiting mirissa!

We had such a great experience at this guest house that we decided to extend our stay for three more days! The location is perfect, especially if you have a scooter (which they conveniently rent on-site). The place is incredibly cozy and comfortable we had a very large, super comfortable bed and a lovely hammock outside our room where we could relax. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. We truly felt welcome and at home here. Highly recommended!

The location in quiet countryside, near paddy fields but also walking distance to Mirissa beach. The lovely staff always smiling and willing to help. Great breakfasts included in price. Cheap scooter hire. Very relaxing.

A little paradise, away from the noisy main street. The Guesthouse have a nice garden and is surrounded by nature and rice fields. I loved that each room have a hamnock in front. It felt like home there because of the familiar atmosphere, the owners are very lovely persons, especially Modischa ❤️ I was sad that I had to move on after 2 nights. Thank you for the lovely time 🙏

The hosts were so helpful and hospital. I got sick very badly and they helped me a lot, got me to the hospital and make sure that I has enough water&food. Also the rooms are really nice and clean. They helped us so much more that we was expecting and it felt like home.

Such a friendly family who do the upmost to make your stay great! Nice breakfast, decent rooms! Loved the hammocks, so nice to just relax.

This was the best accommodation in Sri Lanka we've been to so far. The owners were really lovely, we even got invited for a drink and dinner with their friends. The breakfast was a highliight of the day together with the cuddles feom their dog and a cat. The bed was a king size and came with a mosscquito net. We would deffinetly love to come back one day.

A master class in real world genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. The "Bakery" family guest house started as a bakery and has grown over the years to quite a remarkable guest house. The husband still runs the bakery with ultra fresh bread and cake in the morning straight from the oven along with prepared fruit grown in the garden. The guest house looks over rice fields and is quiet. None of the Mirissa road noise. Its a calm and tranquil oasis. I really enjoyed the 20minute walk along side the beautiful rice fields and various homes. The husband kindly dropped me back in town with his Tuk Tuk.

Homely, comfortable & spotlessly clean rooms. Lovely family running the guesthouse. Delicious breakfast. Close to the beach, shops & restaurants but away from the hustle and bustle with a quiet terrace shaded by banana and fruit trees with hammocks and seating. Perfect!

Beautiful place surrounded by nature and amazing rice field just 20 minutes walk from Mirissa center. The owner is the most kind woman who I never met and sincerely I have a lot to learn from her. I appreciate the room, it was comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast

Lovely family run home stay.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and I can say that I feel completely comfortable, safe, and well looked after by the host family. The place is always very clean, the rooms are comfortable with private bathrooms, and they have everything you need, in my opinion. The location is great because it’s not too far from the city, but not in the centre either. That means you can enjoy being away from the tourist areas and parties while also enjoying nature. I will always come back to this incredible place. Keep in mind that the hosts are a very friendly couple, always willing to help you and offer great recommendations.

This super quiet guest house just outside of Marissa set in beautiful gardens was perfect.From the most kind family hosts you could ever want to meet.The breakfast with the freshly baked bread and fruits and local quisine was so good ...The hosts were super helpful running us to town and helping us to the local doctor when my friend was ill, Sitting on the veranda and watching all the nature was a dream for me a top place to stay for sure,
