La Zagara is the perfect Amalfi Coast stay if you’re looking to escape the crowds while still being close to everything. Located in Minori, a quieter and more authentic town, it offers a peaceful retreat just a short ferry ride from all the major destinations along the coast. The property itself is nestled about 300 steps up the hillside, surrounded by beautiful lemon groves, which adds to the charm and sense of seclusion. What truly makes this place special, though, is the hospitality. Andrea and Salvatore welcome you like family, creating an atmosphere that feels warm, genuine, and personal. It’s one of the most authentic travel experiences I’ve had — more like staying in someone’s home than a typical hotel.

This place is a true lemon-shaped gem! Salvatore, Andrea and Spot (the dog) makes you feel warmly welcomed, generously sharing their knowledge and love for what Amalfi has to offer. We really enjoyed our time there, the B&B and Minori itself are calm havens campared to the madness of Positano and Capri.

Salvatore and Andrea were so helpful with organizing transfers and information about the area. The breakfast was lovely especially the homemade marmalades. Aswell the room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

We had an amazing stay in Villa La Zagara! Our room was amazing, we were treated as a family by our hosts. Our hosts, Andrea and Salvatore, shared with us great suggestions and insights about Amalfi coast! We would definitely come back to Minore and to Villa La Zagara again☺️

A relaxing rustic stay in a lemon orchard! So serene & peaceful! Breakfast was lovely & everything lemon!! The hospitality of Salvatore, Nilde, Andreas & Sam was exceptional, nothing was a problem for them, even sorting a problem with the bus driver delivering us up the mountain!! Many thanks😊

Very nice house in a charming lemon-garden. The rooms are funcional and cosy, cleaned every day . The breakfast was very good , served in the garden when weather is good ! The beautiful surrondings and the nice host family made it a lovely holiday !

Wonderful setting actually in a lemon grove. Very peaceful and tranquil. Exceptional host who told us all about the history and explained some of the intricacies of growing lemons.

A beautifull villa located on a hill above Minori surrounded by lemon orchard. Such an amazing experience, one of the nicest places we have seen n Italy. The hosts were so friendly and hospitable that we felt like visiting a family. They gave us a lot of useful advices and also took us on little agricultural detour within their property. Also, everyday we got a homemade lemon jam for breakfast with croissants. If coming back to this area we will definitely book again. Our room was smaller, close to breakfast area, but it had such a good atmosphere. Thank you!

The property was beautiful! Hosts were so lovely always making sure we have everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, we were lucky enough to try their homemade lemon marmalade and lemon cake which was delicious! Spot the dog is the sweetest boy always there to greet us at the gate :)

“One of the most wonderfully unique travel experiences ever”

Absolute unique location amidst lemon groves with breathtaking views over the Minori valley and the sea. The few rooms are located in a beautiful old building and the rooms are comfortable and clean (cleaning every day). But what makes Zagara really unique is the owners Nida and Salvatore and their son Andrea. The most lovely, helpful and happy people we have ever stayed with. We picked fresh tomatoes in the garden and got a trip in Salvatore’s vintage Fiat 500 convertible. One of the best vacation experiences we’ve ever had.

Beautiful family run Villa, where you are welcomed & made to feel as part of the family who are so friendly & helpful. Andrea, Nilde & Salvetore are the perfect hosts & of course their dog Spot. Beautifully decorated spacious room & bathroom with powerful shower. You have a buffet breakfast outside in the lemon grove over looking the fabulous views of Minori with delicious homemade lemon marmalade - just fantastic. Parked car for free at the Villa which is rare in Amalfi coast as most places charge extra. So happy to have stayed here, authentic & quiet location. Book - you won’t regret it! We loved the location overlooking Minori & worked off our dinner on our way back to the villa, 15 minute walk up hill, just to bear in mind if mobility issues but could drive/taxi
