Many of the comments here start with praise for Filomena and Mario, and I can't start with any other way, either. They're such fantastic hosts and people: cheerful, kind, helpful who always approach you with a sincere smile. The appartment itself is spacious, furnished with soul and has an unbeatible view of the coast. It was nice to sit in the loggia in the mornings and evenings and just stare at the picturesque coast and the endless sea. The appartment was clean, the bed is big and comfortable. Every morning Filomena greeted us with a huge and delicious breakfast. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. You feel entirely safe. The hosts have dogs, but they don't make much noise. Hearing them bark from time to time we considered an advantage. I was initialy worried about the 333 steps leading to the house, but although you can use a shuttle-bus to go up and down, we hardly ever used it. We enjoyed walking the stairs with their unique charm, especially in the evenings. It was a real pleasure to spend a week at your house. Thank you. Grazie di cuore.

I stayed at an apartment hotel called TakeAmalficoast, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it due to several serious issues. The most concerning part was that the owner entered the apartment without our knowledge or consent while we were staying there. This is a clear violation of our privacy and not something you expect when booking a place to relax. When we arrived, the apartment looked clean at first glance, but the floor was actually dirty, and there was a visible gap under the door where ants kept coming in. It was quite unpleasant, especially considering the price point. I appreciated that dogs are allowed free of charge – which was one of the reasons I booked the place – but it turns out the property has around 12 dogs, and you can hear them barking constantly. So if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this may not be the right place for you. At checkout, the owner showed me a photo of a sheet that had fallen on the floor and claimed my dog had been sleeping on it. She demanded I pay €50 for this, even though this was never mentioned before or during our stay. When I questioned this, she started shouting at me very aggressively, which was both unprofessional and intimidating. Shortly after, her husband called me and also began shouting. He told me I was “lucky” he wasn’t there in person, because if he had been, he “wouldn’t have let us leave.” This kind of threatening behavior is completely unacceptable and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. She also complained that we had left the air conditioning on while we were out, despite there being no clear house rule against it. In every other apartment hotel I’ve stayed at, this was never a problem – especially in summer, when it’s extremely hot and you want to come back to a cool room. All in all, this stay was deeply disappointing. Between the privacy violations, pest issues, noise, aggressive behavior, and unjustified charges, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodation.

Mario and Filomena are not only perfect host, they will become your friends and introduce you to the village life. They know the area by heart, are full of great recommendations, and they are happy to share a spritz together at the bar in the piazzetta (Michele, we miss you!). Minori is the place to be if you want to enjoy the Amalfi coast but still live an authentic experience, and Mario will be able to guide you to make sure you have the perfect stay. The apartment itself is exceptional, on top of the hill so you have the best view of the sea and the coast, and there’s everything you might need inside (just like at home). Mario and Filomena live close by and they’re happy to help with any request, and Filomena makes sure everyone has breakfast with fresh products and homemade jam. This has been the absolute best part of our holidays, and we wish we would have stayed longer. Trust me, you can’t beat it - and we can’t wait to be back. Thank you, Mario and Filomena!

The view!! Very spacious Delightful hosts and very hospitable

The appartment has a nice view (it is a pity that the balcony is tiny and the outdoor are is not suitable/prepared for outdoor seating) and is located up in the lemon gardens. There is a living room, and bedroom as well as a large renewed modern kitchen and a modern bathroom. Good mosquito nets which are an absolute must are on the windows and are working. The shuttle bus stop is right in front of the place- just a few stairs, which is super convenient. The hosts live just next to you, they are genuinely helpful, responsive and welcoming, also giving you good tips. You get a huge home made delicious cake for breakfast, and basic things you might need as well. Overall I think it is a good value place to stay on the Amalfi coast.

“You feel at home”

Our stay was very enjoyable. We had a large guest room, a large bedroom, a children's bedroom, a nice and well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. The balcony is located above the lemon orchard with a wonderful view of the hills and Minori Bay. The breakfasts are delicious, they are brought personally by the very, very nice and cheerful Filomena. Filomena and Mario are also very helpful, they create such a family atmosphere, you feel at home. We have very fond memories of your stay and we sincerely recommend this place.

A beautiful a quiet location, up on the hill, in orange and lemon gardens with a stunning view over the sea and the coastline. To top is all off: Mario and Filomena go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable.

“The best, most beautiful and cozy place to stay!”

It is a most amazing stay with a beautiful terrace and balcony. The view was incredible. And the hosts exceeded our expectations! They parked our car in the inside parking, and brought us the most delicious breakfast every morning - freshly baked pies, homemade fig and lemon jams, and fresh yogurt and bread. The hosts also explained everything about the local transport - you can very easily visit other places across the coast and get back the same day.

Had a wonderful staying. The apartment where better then expected, amazing view of the ocean from the bedroom and living room and fully equipped kitchen. Great breakfast each morning. Would definitely come back here.
